A hidden gem!
What an amazing find! We were looking for a holiday house to spend a quiet new years. This cottage is charming and exactly as the photos show! Everything is really high quality! From the bed and linen to the bath towels, to the appliances in the kitchen, we were not in want of anything. Plus the hosts left us a welcome basket of goodies! We will definitely be back again! Thank you for a lovely stay!

We're Justin and Amanda, raising our two young children in the Parramatta region of Sydney, Penelope and Harvey, whilst sharing with you our home away from home.

We love spending time at the park, riding bikes and scooters, running at little athletics but we love nothing more than being able to sit around a fire and spend some time together as a family, especially at Endsleigh Cottage when we get the chance.

We're grateful for the opportunity to be hosts and share with you everything that our lovely cottage has to offer from its historic and federation style finishes, to the warm feeling you get when you walk through the front door and sit beside the fireplace.

Why they chose this property

The Hunter Valley is known for its world-class wineries, stunning natural beauty, and vibrant food and arts scene. We hope that you will take the time to explore everything this wonderful region has to offer and create lasting memories during your stay.

What makes this property unique

Our Federation-style cottage is full of character and has been carefully restored to offer modern amenities while retaining its historical charm. You will find a comfortable and welcoming space to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the local area.

Enjoy the original tin pressed ceiling in the living room, the ornate cornices throughout and the original ship lap ceiling in the bedrooms and bathroom. The floors in the front section of the house are also the original, and we've managed to also restore the front door, windows and bedroom doors and handles.

There aren't too many homes locally that have been able to keep so much of the original features now the home is more than 110 years old.
