The property is on the beautiful place up in the mountain really miilion dollar view, my family loved everything in this house, the view in the night time is speechless, all very good exactly as described on linePS please supply dust pan and fix lightning in the laundry this is very minor problemOverall, my family having an excellent time at this haven place
This property was perfect for 5 friends who wanted a room each. The view is amazing with the house being perched on top of the hill. The house had everything we needed. The beds could have been a little softer. And that driveway - it's steep. We were more comfortable leaving our vehicles parked on the street. We would definitely stay again next time we visit Hobart.
The views were out of this world for me. Nice big home and comfortable for our group of 7 adults. If the following areas were worked on it would be a more appealing to return.
I assume that the property is new to booking.
The house needs to be cleaner, also need more crockery given the number of people that can stay in this big home. The gardens are also a mess and full of gorse. But view amazing.
The house was spacious and had a fantastic view over Hobart and the Derwent. We had a fabulous view of the fireworks on new years eve. The furniture was modern and the beds were comfortable. However, this is premium accommodation and there were some things that could and should have been better. Some kitchen surfaces and cupboards were greasy. Some food in the pantry was well over its use by dates and some open jars, such as a pasta sauce, should have been in the refrigerator (or thrown away). Most accommodation we have stayed in has had coffee or ideally coffee making facilities for weary travellers, and milk in the fridge. This place had neither. There was a limited range of cooking utensils and the ones that were supplied were showing their age.One of the higher kitchen cupboard doors was hanging by a single hinge (fixed by me).The house has five bedrooms, spread over three levels, but only one ensuite and one common bathroom, both on the third level. The shower in the ensuite was an overhead rain-type shower which is tricky to use if you dont want to wash your hair - so functionally only one full bathroom. The driveway is steep, very, very steep. I had new tyres on my car but could not make it to the top without them spinning and squealing on dry days. The back garden was unkempt and there was no outside table or chairs. This property charges premium prices and the house is generally very comfortable. However with minimal extra effort it could be much better.
