The space
Perch atop the water as you look out from the Boathouse! This tiny home is 425ft and has a cozy cottage feel with high-end amenities throughout.

Guest access
You will have a private deck and yard but will share a portion of the boardwalk and floating dock with guests from our neighboring property for lake access. The driveway is also shared. However, you will have a designated parking space.

Summer getaway
The Boathouse has very nicely decorated and on a perfect spot on the water. The bed was comfortable and the chairs overlooking the water were a perfect place to lounge with a good summer book. The small town of Linden didn't have much to offer but the neighboring town of Fenton was charming. One thing I would add, is an umbrella on the side deck as the afternoon sun did get a little warm. Overall, a wonderful stay that I would recommend for a quiet couples retreat.

Over the top amazing! Our best VRBO experience ever!
Our stay at the boat house was nothing short of exceptional and the best VRBO experience we have ever had. My wife and I decided to make a trip up to Pine Knob music theater for a 2 night concert to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. I did make a note of this to the host when booking. The host so graciously and thoughtfully placed rose pedals throughout the space, as well as some delicious chocolates, a small bottle of champagne, and swan molded towels in the beautiful bathroom. This place was also spotlessly clean! This was a huge win as my wife could relax and not worry about cleaning (she's a clean freak). The coffee / tea bar is amazing with a variety of choices, flavors, and condiments. They even supply some delicious oatmeal for a quick breakfast. Everything about our stay was a 10 out of 10. The communication with the host was top tier and it really shows they care about the quality of their guests stay. We did not get to spend any time on the water which we planned, as we chose to spend more quality time with one another. The hot tub was clean and well taken care of, as well as the indoor jetted tub which was also enjoyed. They provided all sorts of shampoos, soaps, exfoliating agents, relaxing bath salts, toothbrushes, and anything you would need, or maybe forgot. They really put a lot of thought and love into this property. The exterior looks almost brand new, so the property is very well kept up. We will most definitely be back again! Book it!

Wonderful, peaceful little hideaway
This boathouse is small but so very comfortable - set up beautifully with nice little touches of gifts (chocolates, etc) and breakfast prep (eggs/butter/OJ/oatmeal cups). The outside deck is peaceful and secluded with a hot tub (which we did not have time to enjoy). It is located in a quiet neighborhood - a mere 30 minutes from Pine Knob if you have concert tickets. I would recommend it as a solo 'get-away' retreat or as a weekend 'honeymoon' for couples. Additional niceties - jetted tub and walk-on shower with music. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Boathouse
We stayed for our 16th wedding anniversary and it was marvelous. All the amenities were above and beyond any expectations. We loved it. We especially loved the cozy atmosphere, little reading nook, and private patio. It was such a nice place to celebrate.

The location was immaculate. Everything was as shown in the photos of the property. However my husband and I felt very uncomfortable at the location. We feel as though it was a ethnicity issue. We decided not to stay after about 2 hours there.

Romantic Weekend
I loved this property so much! This would be a great getaway for any couple looking for a romantic weekend any time of the year. We really enjoyed the kayaks and hot tub. The property is a short walk away from downtown with a few nice restaurants and bars to stop at. Brandy was an amazing host and left us little treats for the weekend and made sure our stay was comfortable. Will definitely stay again!

BOATHOUSE BLISS
The property is more beautiful than described. The amenities were all in good condition and bed was very comfortable as well. The jetted bathtub and spacious shower were the highlight of the stay for us! The property owner goes above and beyond to make sure that everything is available for you, including herself for any assistance that you may need! Definitely will return in the future!

My husband Dom and I began with the idea of having a "convertible" space next door for our three boys to use when home from college, visiting, etc. and renting it out when they were away. We quickly fell in love with the experience of providing true hospitality to people in a time when it seems so hard to find, and feel so blessed when we happen to make a new connection of friendship that will last.

Why they chose this property

The thing that distinguishes Linden most from other towns is its people! While we were at first drawn in by the historic charm, quaint features and incredible beauty of the town and this incredible property, we have fallen in love with the friendly, helpful and happy nature of our Linden neighbors. Proximity to wineries, orchards and downtown Fenton also make it ideal!
