The Suite 1 apartment is located in a wonderful historical building dating back to seventeenth century located on the Lungarno Archibusieri, between Ponte Vecchio and The Uffizi Museum. The view from the panoramical windows, overlooking both the Ponte Vecchio and the Vasarian corridor, will mesmerise you.
As will the location, perfect for starting your discovery of Florence from its very heart.
Newly renovated, the apartment has a surface of 48 squared meters and composes itself of a living room with American kitchen, a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe, and a modern bathroom.
The tasteful design of the interiors has been thought to respect the structure of the apartment, but also to offer its guest the most comfortable experience possible.
Thus in the apartment you will find a Satellite TV with DVD player, air conditioning, central heating, washing machine and ironing equipment, hair dryer, water boiler, dish washer, toaster and a fully equipped kitchen.
Of course, all linen and towels are included, as is a weekly cleaning service that will provide you with fresh linen and towels.

Great apartment, Perfect location!

Host Marusca gave us everything we needed for a great stay! The apartment was clean, updated and perfect for our needs. The location is excellent, right near the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi, with a great view. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, except for the Santa Maria Novella Station (when we left to take the train to Rome). We had trouble getting a taxi that morning we left, so we contacted Marusca, and she had a taxi there for us within 5 minutes! Thank you Marusca! Despite cool, rainy weather while we were there, we had a great stay!!

Amazing!

Such a beautiful apartment overlooking the Ponte Vecchio! Woke each morning and opened the windows to listen to the church bells ringing. The apartment was SPOTLESS and Marusca was wonderful. At one point I sent her a message to see if there were other pillows we could use and she went and bought new pillows to make us more comfortable! She had many wonderful suggestions for our stay. I highly recommend staying at this fabulous apartment and would definitely come back!

Fantastic Experience in historic center of Firenze

This was the first time we tried a Vrbo. The apartment was wonderful, it had everything we needed, and we completely enjoyed our stay there. Marusca is a super host, greeted us personally just as we arrived, and provided us a complete explanation of everything we needed to know about the apartment, and helped arranged a taxi for us at 4:30 AM on departure morning. The front door of the apartment building is located about 30 second walk from the Ponte Vecchio, and 40 second walk from the Uffizi Gallery, directly on the small street that runs along the Arno River. The apartment is on the 5th floor, with a convenient lift so we did not have to walk the stairs. The 3 windows look out onto the Arno River and the Ponte Vecchio, and look down onto the Vasari Walkway. So we were above where the Medici's did their daily walks between the Uffizi and their home in the Piti Palace. The location is surprisingly quiet considering the location. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, and the bathroom was roomy. The kitchen had a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, toaster and kettle. The area is filled with all kinds of great eateries and the best Gelateria in Firenze is located close by. We would love to have stayed there a month or longer. 8 days was too short - maybe we will do it again soon.

Perfect Location

We spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our host was extremely helpful and responsive. The apartment is charming and well equipped and quite quirky, due to low ceilings. The location cannot be beat and it was quiet, even though you’re in the heart of the action. Bear in mind, we were there during the winter and we mostly had the windows closed. Highly recommend

Amazing location

This apartment is exactly as pictured. The location was walking distance to every thing we wanted to see. While it’s in the center of the action, it’s very quiet. Bed was very comfortable.

Amazing stay and view

The location is unbeatable and the size of the apartment is big for Florence! Easy check-in and check-out. Loved having a washer along with a big closet and bathroom. We were celebrating our honeymoon and the host gifted us a bottle of champagne - so sweet!! Will definitely stay here again when we come back.

Great location

The apartment was located right in the thick of things and close to most attractions (right next to Ponte Vecchio). You can get to either side of the river easily. It can be louder at night due to the crowds but we were ready for it. I slept fine with the window closed. Weather was perfect, too!

Great location! Beautiful to wake up looking out over the Ponte Vecchio! Even some mornings saw hot air balloons! Lift up to the 5th floor. Close to all amenities. Would definitely stay here again!!

The Little Things

Our family of 3 fit into this classic loft very well, and the location couldn’t be more fairy-tale like. We walked everywhere, San Spirito several times; be sure the check out Volume for delicious beer, snacks, and olives. What really made our stay was Marusca’s attention to the little things-Italian coffee maker for our mornings, the cold filtered water after climbing the duomo, and the washing machine helped make our stay in Florence absolutely unforgettable.

A fabulous location in Florence

This was a perfect location for a stay in Florence. The apartment itself is quite nice with a very comfortable bed, nice bathroom and kitchen. You can’t beat the location…it’s perfect for tourist. The host was very helpful answering questions and helping with activities. Absolutely safe and secure setting. I highly recommend this location as being just right for a small group.

Location is really perfect.

We were very pleased with this apartment. It is hard to do the location justice. It is easy to walk to the historical sites and shopping. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The elevator was typical for this type of building, and made all the difference for us. The view out of the windows is incredible. Marusca was very responsive when we had questions before booking the apartment. The check-in process was very easy. Marusca was very pleasant and gave us many good recommendations for eating and shopping. She also made arrangements for a taxi to the airport for us. The day before we checked out Marusca sent us the confirmation of the taxi reservation. It was nice knowing that everything was handled and we didn't have to worry. If we come back to Firenze we will be checking then availability of the this apartment. Highly recommended.

Location is great

Stayed here with my wife 6 nights end of September2019. Was as described in listing. The mosquitoes were the only real annoyance in this apartment but I suppose it’s due to river and season. Well equipped in general - the bed was ok comfort wise. A few of the electrical circuits seemed overtaxed ... flickering recessed lights. Had enough room although as noted in other reviews the ceiling clearance is low and you could bump your head if not careful going to the bathroom at night. Convenient to all major sites and food store. Management company is responsive and check in was fine. If you decide to bring a car and park at Garage de terme for 25/night make sure to get the detailed directions to get there as with the traffic and restricted access you could spend 1h on a 10 min drive. Marusca was lovely to deal with and her associate Alessio who checked us in was very helpful. Great time all in all. We recommend. (To Marusca: 2 inexpensive upgrades to consider: Nespresso machine and microwave would make it even better :-) ).
