Casa Di Palme is positioned on a large corner lot, giving your group plenty of space to chill. The property comfortably sleeps 6, making it the perfect choice for small families and couples to kick back and relax in the Florida sun.
Living Spaces
Two lounges give your group plenty of room to enjoy time well spent together — or space to grab a little solo time when needed! The main living area is open-plan and features plenty of comfy seating for your entire group. Gather around the coffee table for epic board game nights, watch an episode of your favorite show on the flatscreen, or curl up on the couch with a great book and your morning coffee. A second snug area has a sectional sofa and a flatscreen TV, making it perfect for streaming the big game or the latest movies. There’s also a desk in the snug, giving guests a quiet space to get some work done.
Kitchen and Dining
The spacious kitchen is every chef’s dream, and you might find yourself battling over who gets to make dinner. Stainless steel appliances make light work of meal prep, and all the cooking equipment you could ever need is provided.
Everyone knows that mealtimes are the best times of the day, and Casa Di Palme has you covered when it comes to dining spaces. A large table comfortably seats four adults for long lunches and hearty dinners, and the breakfast bar and kitchen table provide further space for extra guests and casual bites.
Bedrooms and Baths
The cool blue primary suite is a tranquil space soaked in natural light and designed with relaxation in mind. The queen-size bed with plush linens guarantees a great night’s sleep and rejuvenating afternoon naps, and the flatscreen TV is the perfect excuse for an early night with your favorite film.
Head over to the second suite and you’ll find a green-themed space with three twin beds (or two twin daybeds plus a trundle if you prefer). Guests staying in this room will love the dual windows and tropical palm tree views. A ceiling fan keeps things cool and the bedside lamp is handy for bedtime readers. An additional twin mattress is also provided — there’s space for this in the second bedroom, or your extra guest can camp out in style in the living room.
The main bathroom is located between the two bedrooms and has a toilet, sink, and large walk-in shower with a stylish stone floor. An additional half bath with a sink and toilet can be found in the front living area and is easily accessible from the pool so you don’t have to worry about wet footprints trailing through the entire house when nature calls.
Outdoor Amenities
Prepare to fall in love with the outdoor area of this beach house. Cool off from the Florida heat in your private pool, or grab a lounger and soak up some sun. A casual seating area features ultra-comfy Adirondack chairs and there’s even a bar — you just need to decide who in your group will be your server (don’t forget to tip!). The tree-lined raised deck with a large table and twinkly string lights is the perfect spot to enjoy a feast cooked on the BBQ grill.
Two separate outdoor rooms are where you’ll find full laundry facilities and plenty of toys including bikes, paddleboards, and kayaks. You’ll also find a bocce ball court — loser does the washing up after dinner!
Other Things To Note
The yard is fenced but the pool isn’t, so please take care when traveling with children. The pool is not heated. The windows and doors leading to the backyard are fitted with alarms and there are cameras on the exterior of the property for your security and peace of mind.
Air-conditioning and superfast WiFi are both available inside the property. There is one step into the house and another from the front living room to the rest of the house. For this reason, the property may not be wheelchair accessible.
The Neighborhood
Florida is special for hundreds of reasons, but something that first-time visitors might not know is that every beach community is unique. They don’t just have different names and topographies — they have completely different personalities (and of course different rules!).
If you’ve chosen Indian Rocks Beach (IRB) for your next vacation then congratulations, you’ve picked well. The most striking thing about this spot is that it looks nothing like the surrounding beach communities. You could be forgiven for thinking you’ve been magically transported to a coastal California town or a quaint New England beach. Think roads no bigger than two lanes, one-story ‘malls’ with 5-10 restaurants and shops, and lots of greenery and nature parks. There isn’t a skyscraper in sight!
If, after a few days you find yourself craving the bright lights of a big city, Tampa is a short drive away. Orlando with its iconic theme parks is also just two hours away by car and makes for a fun-packed day trip.
Two security cameras onsite - one on the front of the house looking at the driveway and one on the side of the house facing the Bocce Ball court.
