Washer/Dryer, Refrigerator, Oven/Range, Microwave too! Open Kitchen to great Dining Area or "Lake Room" with plenty of seating and views of the Lake from ALL windows! There is also a living room with comfortable seating, relaxing getaway to read, play games or catch some TV with your family and friends! Grassy level enclosed yard with plenty of space for fun and games! Walk out gated yard to a large concrete retaining wall, great for chairs to enjoy the lake breeze with private access to the water too! Enter Lake Erie in shallow waters, walk onto hard packed sand, great for taking walks or sitting in a beach chair relaxing, good for water games! New firepit (must provide your own wood) Charcoal Grill, new patio and parking for 3 vehicles. This home has been recently updated with many new improvements including an on demand hot water heater, newer furniture, new bedding & mattresses, appliances and more. Our family had a great stay at the lake house. The kitchen was well stocked. The house was clean and comfortable. Ten steps from the back door to the water wall was amazing. We would like to stay here again!

What a great place on the water. House is clean, well maintained and well stocked. It has everything you need. Was awesome to wake up to views of the western basin of Lake Erie.

House was right on Lake Erie. It was nice and clean. Easy to get to. Imagine would be a very fun place in the summer being right on the water.

We had a great stay. The house was great with plenty of room. Responses from Allen were timely. It was great being able to walk several hundred feet on packed sand in the lake. However, there was one large step to get in. Really enjoyed the area too. Went to Marblehead lighthouse, Johnson Island, and the peach, perch, pierogi and polka festival. We would rent again. Thank you

Gorgeous getaway
The house was everything we could ask for. Just the right size for our 3 children, my wife, and her parents. The kids loved swimming and playing in the lake right in front of the house!

Peaceful setting
Our family stayed here for a couple of days. The two living areas are open to the kitchen so we never felt like we were on top of each other. I just wish there was a dishwasher since we like to cook in. The outdoor space is wonderful. The yard was great for playing games. At night we enjoyed the fire pit by the lake. Would be nice to have a couple more chairs

It was absolutely a perfect house. The decor was amazing and the attention to details gives it that warm cozy lake house feel. Amenities were abundant and in good working order. Great view of Lake Erie from our front patio. We definitely would rent again.

Good option for a family
We stayed here during a nearby family vacation and it was great for what we needed. We didn’t have the opportunity to use the property as much as we might have wanted to. It was clean and comfortable. The house is dated but in a welcoming and comfy way. The only thing I didn’t like was that it is very close to houses on both sides and there was no great way to get in and out of the water should you want to take advantage of the location.

Summer Vacation
We had a great time on Lake Erie. Allen was great to communicate with and very responsive. The ability to walk out the back door right into the water was a game-changer with two teenage boys. The water is not deep at all and we were able to walk out several hundred feet and barely get to our waist. Space was very comfortable for four of us and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook most meals.

Beautiful Lakefront Property
This is one of the rare properties in the area that puts you right on the water. This property has easy access to the water which makes it ideal for families looking for private swimming access. We also had easy check in and check out. You will not be disappointed with this property if you are looking for a lakefront getaway.

Great property if you want to be on Lake Erie
Our stay was fantastic. Allen was a great host, very responsive and clear directions/check-in and out processes. The home was extremely clean, lots of dishes, cookware, etc. Sunset view from the house are second to none! With a great-sized yard, plenty of room for activities, beach front access, Etc. this property is hard to beat!

Enjoy the Lake!
This home is absolutely lovely, perfect location and plenty of room for family to enjoy the lake. There are so many amenities close by. Our grandsons enjoyed swimming in the lake everyday and it was safe since the water level is low with sand bottom. The bedrooms were spacious and we enjoyed having two living areas to separate kids from adults. We particularly chose this property because it had a spacious fenced yard because we had a two year old and wanted to keep him safe from the lake. We totally enjoyed this home and would stay again.

Fun Ladies Getaway
Everything was as listed. A very charming cottage right on the water. Very clean and well stocked with the essentials. I only had question for Allen and he responded right away. Great location for quick access to ferry's to the islands. Unfortunately the weather was cold and rainy so we couldn't fully enjoy the outdoor patio. The sun came out the morning we left and gave us the most beautiful view of the lake! Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful views and sunsets
Charming, vintage cottage within steps of Lake Erie. Plenty of space for the five of us, all seniors getting together for a pre-50th high school class reunion. While we did enjoy the cottage and there was plenty of room, it was decided that a one level cottage with more bathrooms is on our must have list next time around. And if you decide to prepare meals at this cottage, better cookware is desirable. Convenient location to major attractions and amenities. Quality bed linens were appreciated, but window air conditioning was loud and needs to be updated. Also, be aware that you may not have access to the lake for swimming. We did not. All in all we had a very good time and the warm atmosphere of the cottage contributed to that.

If you have favorable expectations, be cautious
The property's furnishings were dated and worn. Window A/C unit barely cooled the house during the day. Family room had no A/C unit. Pots and pans were old, bad condition, we found them unacceptable. Owner did not return a phone call for information. Is it a VRBO practice to instruct departing guests to strip beds and start washer? Single ply toilet paper, realy.
