We stayed close to the venue our friend was getting married at. 3 minute drive to be exact. The rest of the wedding party was a half hour away in a hotel, and they were jealous of our accomodations. Sitting out by the lake was just so beautiful. It fit us perfectly.
Comfortable accommodations!
Plenty of beautiful patio spaces to lounge and have a fire too. Loved the lake from the house. fully equipped kitchen. The host was really helpful and quick to response to our questions. Quiet and peaceful stay We would go again.
Just what we wanted for our vacation. A patio right on the lake, bonfire pit, comfortable chairs, very nice dock to walk on and nicely decorated house..very comfortable!!!

Nice lake access
Paved patio and fire ring area nice with great trees for shade. Access to lake good with nice docks. Owners could be more flexible with fewer rules. Focus on guests enjoying time with family at lake instead of what makes things better for owners.
This was our first experience with an online booking and we were beyond pleased. The accommodations were first class, the neighbors were friendly and the weather was perfect! Looking out over the lake in the morning with a cup of coffee in hand or watching the sunset in the evening while contemplating the laughter and joy of the day was everything we had hoped for. A perfect way to reset!
We enjoyed all the things that cabin life provides. Sitting on the deck with the shade and lake breeze to the grandkids swimming in the shallow waters. Tried fishing from the boat but found more sucess from dock. Late night fires and just relaxing.
We stayed at "The Nut House" after our daughter's wedding at Ahavah. The house was super clean, beds comfortable, great outdoors area; where we were able to catch many fish right off the dock. We will book again!
We had such a great week at the lake. Everything was perfect. I loved the breeze off the lake, listening to the lap of the waves and following the moon glow across the water. It was lovely. Thanks.
We had the absolute most fabulous time at your lake house! It was exactly what we were hoping for! Inside was cozy for 6 adults and a dog and the outside shaded deck levels provided for a lot of fun and relaxation! We kayaked, swam, floated, and fished! We loved this place! Thanks for having everything we needed! We hope to be back again soon!
This house was perfect for our Bachelorette weekend getaway. Right on the water and the lake was very clean and great for kayaking. We all had an amazing time!
My 2 friends and I enjoyed our "guys' time" in this neat little cabin. Everything was clean and as described/depicted in the listing. Cozy, too – great for hanging out and watching the Masters on TV. Host was on top of pre-trip communication. We'd stay again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nut House. It was spacious enough for us to enjoy the living room and fireplace, the high-top table for games, and the outdoor space for grilling and making s'mores. We appreciated all of the amenities and found it to be a peaceful retreat!
We were impressed how clean and well-appointed the cabin was! Literally everything we needed (even a funnel!) was in the home. The beds were so comfy and the fire was already built for us! We highly recommend this lakeside home and the gorgeous view is a bonus!
The Nut House is absolutely delightful. Beautiful location right on the lake, cozy and comfortable. The cabin was very clean, beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-supplied with necessities. My husband enjoyed fishing off the dock, and I loved sitting on the patio overlooking the lake enjoying the beautiful view. Thank you for sharing your home! We had a wonderful stay.
Everything was super simple. Didn’t need to do too much. Booked online, Peter was very well organized, access information was very clear, and checkout was quite easy.
The home is on the smaller side but it was extremely cozy. With a mix of 6 adults throughout the day we were very comfortable. Lucky enough the sky was clear enough to see the Milky Way out at the bonfire. Overall definitely recommend. And when you do book check out the bar out the cool bar lights. The book isn’t lying that the door hinges are the switches.
This was a great location for us, close to home so everyone could come at sometime. Everyone really Iiked the cabin. All the shaded deck area was especially nice for the little kids. We couldn't have had better lake weather.
