Welcome to the woods! Simply Serene is a 2 bedroom , 1 bath, fully equipped kitchen with everything you need, beautifully decorated modern log cabin located in the mountains of Cosby, TN. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing, secluded getaway, where you can sit pest free on the screened in front porch to read a book, play games, take a nap or just unplug from the hustle and bustle of life or the back porch for a good long soak in the hot tub after a long day of hiking or trekking around Gatlinburg, then this cabin has all you need. This cabin is pet friendly for up to 2 small to medium sized dogs ( must ask owner and describe your dogs before booking). Simply Serene cabin is located just minutes from the Cosby Campground entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park for some of the best hiking trails on this side of the Smokies! The cabin is nestled in a sparsely populated neighborhood on Chestnut Mountain. It's easy to find and only 40 mins from the attractions of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. There are Golf courses, antique shops, gift shops and restaurants all nearby. For the adventurous types, white water rafting, zip lining and rope courses are available in Hartford, Tn (just 15 mins from the cabin).
What guests love the most about this cabin is how clean, cozy and quiet it is. It's perfect for couples, small families with pets or a honeymoon getaway! During your stay, we are always available for questions or concerns 24/7!

Truly serine

It was a great weekend in the Smokies! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the owners were amazing. They went out of their way to set up Valentine’s Day decorations which also was my girlfriend’s birthday. They left her a bottle of wine, rose petals and a card wishing us a great weekend. I would recommend this cabin and also we will be back. Thankyou so much!

We loved staying at this cozy cabin. It was very private and decorated so beautiful. Jane the host is very kind and accommodating. She has an amazing gift shop where you check in for the cabin.

Quiet and cozy..

The property was just enough out of town that you felt secluded, but close enough that you could enjoy all the sites. We did see a small black bear maybe 100 ft from the cabin and had a small racoon visit one night. The birds and sounds all around us were so peaceful. The cabin was clean and cozy. EVERYTHING was thought of for a comfortable stay. Check in was easy and our host Jane was amazing and friendly. Make sure you check out her gift shop i made quiet a few finds..

Hidden gem!

The cabin was amazing and it is soooo close to the best part of the great Smokey mountains national park! The gatlinburg side is way too busy but the Cosby side is peaceful and quiet and incredible. But also only 50ish minutes from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg! The location is really the best of both worlds. The cabin is beautiful and clean. The screened in porch is the best place ever to hangout. Jane is helpful and easy to talk to. Would 100% recommend this property to anyone!

Just what we were looking for...

Cozy cabin far from the crowds, but close enough to access everything that we wanted to do, especially in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Super helpful manager, and lots of amenities in or near the cabin. Peaceful...would return again when there is time and opportunity. No regrets!

Wonderful trip and the cabin was beautiful!

This is a beautiful, tastefully decorated cabin and wonderfully secluded, but near to all that the area has to offer. On our stay we explored the area and local shops. We also took full advantage of the hot tub and beautiful views from both porches. Jane was a great host and very easy to deal with. The cabin is well stocked with everything you need for a great stay.

Great cabin - location very remote

The cabin was clean and nice. The location for us was too far from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge; a detail that was missing from the listing. If you want remote then this is great. If being close to restaurants, attractions and shopping then I would recommend a different location.

I am a resident and business owner in Cosby Tn since 2015. I have a small unique handmade gift shop ( A Little Something Handmade) right on highway 321 (32). I started cabin rental in July 2016. I am originally from PA but have lived in TN for 24 years now. Love these Mountains!! I love providing a clean, comfortable place for people to vacation in the mountains! Meeting my guests at check in, is especially important to me. I have made some wonderful friends through this experience.

Why they chose this property

I choose this area because it is not in the hustle and bustle of the tourist attractions, but close enough to visit and enjoy. This property is centrally located from the attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, the fabulous outdoor activities.... white water rafting and zip lining in Hartford TN and all the beautiful hiking trails the Smoky Mountains has to offer. It's a quaint little cabin in a very wonderful neighborhood. Also, it's about an hour from the Biltmore Estate in NC.
