Welcome to the woods! Simply Serene is a 2 bedroom , 1 bath, fully equipped kitchen with everything you need, beautifully decorated modern log cabin located in the mountains of Cosby, TN. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing, secluded getaway, where you can sit pest free on the screened in front porch to read a book, play games, take a nap or just unplug from the hustle and bustle of life or the back porch for a good long soak in the hot tub after a long day of hiking or trekking around Gatlinburg, then this cabin has all you need. This cabin is pet friendly for up to 2 small to medium sized dogs ( must ask owner and describe your dogs before booking). Simply Serene cabin is located just minutes from the Cosby Campground entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park for some of the best hiking trails on this side of the Smokies! The cabin is nestled in a sparsely populated neighborhood on Chestnut Mountain. It's easy to find and only 40 mins from the attractions of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. There are Golf courses, antique shops, gift shops and restaurants all nearby. For the adventurous types, white water rafting, zip lining and rope courses are available in Hartford, Tn (just 15 mins from the cabin).
What guests love the most about this cabin is how clean, cozy and quiet it is. It's perfect for couples, small families with pets or a honeymoon getaway! During your stay, we are always available for questions or concerns 24/7!

Great getaway

If you want somewhere in the mountains this is definitely the place for you! Checkin and checkout was quick and easy. Answered everything I needed to know. Cabin was beautiful.

Mountain Paradise

My husband and I were hoping for a mountain cabin experience, and this place far exceeded our expectations! Everything about it was perfect! The interior was tastefully decorated with a Smoky Mountains theme, and it was warm and cozy. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept peacefully. Our favorite place to stay was on the large screened in back porch with forest views all around us. Our hostess was wonderful, and we now consider her a new friend. The worst part of our visit was having to leave! We wish we had booked a longer stay; and we plan to return to this mountain paradise again!

Just what we were looking for...

Cozy cabin far from the crowds, but close enough to access everything that we wanted to do, especially in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Super helpful manager, and lots of amenities in or near the cabin. Peaceful...would return again when there is time and opportunity. No regrets!

Great cabin - location very remote

The cabin was clean and nice. The location for us was too far from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge; a detail that was missing from the listing. If you want remote then this is great. If being close to restaurants, attractions and shopping then I would recommend a different location.

A perfect birthday gift getaway to my 10-year-old twins!

First off let me say that Jane is so nice and accommodating! Her taste and decorations give the perfect setting to any Smoky Mountain getaway! She was incredibly kind and thoughtful toward my kids and their big birthday event! The cabin had everything we needed and was so quiet and cozy! We all wanted to stay so much longer! We will certainly be back and we are so grateful that we found her and this amazing property for our Smoky Mountain adventures!

We enjoyed our stay in this cute cabin. My first comment when walking into the cabin was “This is super clean!” You could smell the cleanliness! Jane was very welcoming and super sweet! We loved our short time here and it was perfect for our little family.

Totally enjoyed our visit.

I can't say enough about how much my wife and I were impressed with Jane and her property. The cabin was absolutely spotlessly clean and so well appointed. Everything one could possibly need or want in a vacation rental was there. The check in process at Jane's shop in downtown Cosby was so easy and simple. Jane was extremely pleasant and was such a vast source of information about the surrounding area and all of the attractions and facilities it had to offer. The cabin itself is located in a very quiet area and is very easy to find and to get to. A short drive from Cosby with a few curves and hills but nothing drastic. A very good restaurant is located nearby with great food and very reasonable prices with friendly and fast service. You will not regret your trip to meet Jane and to stay in her beautiful cabin just outside the Smoky Mountains National Park.

Wonderful trip and the cabin was beautiful!

This is a beautiful, tastefully decorated cabin and wonderfully secluded, but near to all that the area has to offer. On our stay we explored the area and local shops. We also took full advantage of the hot tub and beautiful views from both porches. Jane was a great host and very easy to deal with. The cabin is well stocked with everything you need for a great stay.

Simply Serene Cabin Cosby, TN.

Quiet area, clean cabin and comfortable beds. Nicely decorated in seasonal decor and bear themed. Owner is friendly and available by phone, text or in-person to answer questions. Lots of places to go hiking or fly fishing in the area. A short drive to Gatlinburg and other similar places for families. The Smoky Mountains National Park has 2 trails dogs are allowed on. The Gatlinburg and the Oconaluftee River trails. Local restaurants were good and people were friendly.

The owner is kind and quick to respond to questions. The cabin was the perfect size. I loved that the cabin was super clean. It was an easy drive to Gatlinburg. Many things you need were supplied. The hot tub was a great bonus. I would definitely stay here again.

The perfect restful retreat

The drive up to the cabin really sets the mood and once you’re there, it feels magical. It’s not too far from anything you might need, but you really feel tucked into the woods- especially when enjoying the porch and the views. The cabin itself is so lovely, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches (toiletries in case you forgot, coffee, condiments and a few other staples, books/dvds/board games, etc.). I was able to bring my two dogs, who loved the change of scenery and long walks. Jane is an exceptional hostess, incredibly kind and welcoming. Everyone I met in town and in neighboring Newport were also friendly and helpful. My whole trip was just so cozy and restful. I hope to return to experience a different season as soon as I am able.

Awesome!

Everything here was great! Jane is amazing, had awesome communication, check in process was super smooth, had a detailed packet that had answers to all of our questions, and she still explained lots of stuff to us. The cabin was amazing, was very cozy and felt like home. There were a variety of items at the cabin that most definitely came in handy. Location was perfect for us, not too too far from anything. Easy drive into town to get supplies. The hot tub was so nice after long days of hiking and an entire day at Dollywood! Would definitely recommend!

It's incredible how time flies; we moved to Clover, South Carolina seven years ago from Bradford, Pennsylvania. I am a resident and business owner in Cosby Tn since 2015. I have a small unique handmade gift shop ( A Little Something Handmade) right on highway 321 (32). I started cabin rental in July 2016. I am originally from PA but have lived in TN for 24 years now. Love these Mountains!! I love providing a clean, comfortable place for people to vacation in the mountains! Meeting my guests at check in, is especially important to me. I have made some wonderful friends through this experience.

Why they chose this property

I choose this area because it is not in the hustle and bustle of the tourist attractions, but close enough to visit and enjoy. This property is centrally located from the attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, the fabulous outdoor activities.... white water rafting and zip lining in Hartford TN and all the beautiful hiking trails the Smoky Mountains has to offer. It's a quaint little cabin in a very wonderful neighborhood. Als, it's about an hour from the Biltmore Estate in NC.
