About this property

Grassy Point Getaway

This rental is close to Grassy Point where there are beautiful sunsets. You’ll love it because of the high ceilings and the location. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Whole house. Off season 3 days minimum. Please read house manual in advance of your arrival, there are unique requirements (#16). In general we look for a minimum 7 day booking during the summer but do make exceptions if we find there are there unbooked days between full week rentals.

Due to water restrictions and to ease demand on septic system we ask that you bring your own linens for beds. See details (#16) on the house manual. House accommodates 8.

The whole house and surrounding yard is part of this rental.


No Pets - hot tub available August 13th to 17th and 20th to 24th rental periods only.

Great stay at Grassy Point Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Grassy Point Getaway. The house is within walking distance to Grassy Point for watching beautiful sunsets and central to everything else on Hornby. We enjoyed the beautiful artwork and artefacts throughout this lovely family home. Hope to be back!

Affordable & eclectic
This was a great place to stay for having multiple bedrooms and enough space for our family plus grandparents. It was also less expensive than a number of other listings I looked at. The location is good, it was quiet at night (minus a few roosters early in the morning), and the kitchen was well stocked. However, the house is stuffed full of art, knickknacks, and furniture and is not suitable for children under 5.
