Charming, Convenient Mid-Island Nantucket Cottage on Surfside Beach Bike Path

Excellent Mid-Island location, convenient to island bus & along the bike path to popular Surfside Beach; walk to the grocery store, liquor store, take-out & dine-in restaurants.

1 week (FRI 4 pm -FRI 10 am) minimum during summer. NO PETS, please.

3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main floor has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a bathroom with a shower/tub. The upstairs floor has a similar bathroom with 2 bedrooms - one with a queen bed and another with 2 single beds.

Great central spot

Best kitchen of any rental I’ve ever cooked in, felt right at home! And Jo was great about communicating before and during our stay. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful cottage!

We loved staying at Joanne's cottage! She was so helpful in giving us information about bike rentals as well. The cottage was an easy walk from town yet felt tucked away and private. Very clean and had all we needed. Loved staying here and will come again.

Great Stay

This is a great VRBO listing in Nantucket. Its a perfect location if you want to bike around, and just just outside of town. The place was clean, instructions were clear, and there were just enough supplies to make it a very comfortable stay.

Fantastic Home

Great property - large common areas and bedrooms, nice backyard, and conveniently located on the island. Jo was so helpful with the logistics. I can't say enough good things about this rental and our trip to Nantucket!

Nantucket

House was great for us and our family. Surfside road is a little busy but the hedge provides great privacy and blocks out noise. The location is great for going to town or the beaches. We walked to town several times and also jumped on the bus which goes right by the house. We rode bikes to several different beaches and to Siasconset. Wonderful stay!

Great first trip to Nantucket

We had a nice stay at Casabella - it was comfortable, in a great location, and a perfect set up for us--which included a 2 year old. Jo was very responsive and accommodating and all-in-all we had an amazing time.

Wonderful property on bike path

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, well-stocked (including beach towels) and spacious. It is situated on a busy road, but the backyard is very private and quiet, and we found the location (the front gate opens right on the bike path) to be perfect for us. It is a short bike ride to the grocery store, and a short walk to the to the wine shop, bike rental shop and cafe. My family and I would definitely stay at Jo's place again. Thank you for hosting us!

Sweet cottage in great location

We stayed at Jo’s cottage for a wedding weekend with another couple. The house was comfortable, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. It’s located on a main road, but set back from the street so it’s quiet and private. Love the deck in back! Surfside Coffee is a great coffee shop nearby and Yummy’s is good for sandwiches (with a bike rental next door). All are an easy walk from the house. Lovely stay and Jo was very responsive.

Family wedding

This charming house was the perfect size for my family (6 adults). Overall the house was very clean. We were however disappointed with the front property. The gate entrance was beautiful online but dirty ( moldy gate) in person. The front walkway was also a bit messy (weeds). Nice deck though. Only wish the house stay offered bikes.

Weekend in May

Stayed at the house with a few friends for Wine fest in May. The weather was very lousy but the house was great. About a 20/25 min walk to town and quick Uber rides everywhere. Obviously didn’t come for the beaches or anything so can’t speak to that, but the house was cute and had everything you’d need for a comfortable stay.

Cousins Trip!

Took a girls cousin trip and this house was so perfect. We had a great time and had easy access to downtown as well as a beautiful house to enjoy when we wanted to relax. Would definitely recommend and will come again!

Construction zone

The overnight road construction was a bit of a bummer but not the fault of the host. The house was clean and comfortable but had either a musty or pet smell that was noticeable.

Ladies biking getaway on Nantucket

Jo's home was the perfect spot for biking the island. We had a quick/short ride from the ferry to the property. The location provided the opportunity to bike to Siasconset Beach (Bluff Walk) and Madaket Beach and a walk into town for lunch and exploring the downtown area. The home is comfortable with an outdoor deck and shower. Jo was also immediately available when I contacted her with a few questions. Highly recommend

Perfect 3 days in Nantucket!

Well appointed and charming cottage. Conveniently located along the surfside beach path and a short trip to downtown. Pretty yard with an outdoor shower. We loved our stay at Casabella and hope to be back soon!
