The property view was beautiful. Just a few issues. The dishwasher didn't work. The grill is all rusted out and should be replaced. A guide to how to use the different remotes for the TV would be helpful. Also all the garbage cans outside were full when we got there on Sat. We put the trash to the curb the following Friday.
The location is magnificent, right on Rockland Harbor. Beds were comfortable. Second bathroom not ensuite, but in laundry room. Towels were good. Kitchen okay. We stayed for two weeks the end of Sept and beginning of Oct when summer weather was over and getting cool. No blankets on the beds (only sheet and thin bedspreads). No throws in living room. Three extra pillows but no extra pillow cases. No games, no books. In kitchen only small salt and pepper shakers. No other spices or supplies, no soap in bathrooms. Only a tablespoon of dish and laundry soap. (Told that they assume guests like to get brands they prefer. Not me, in a VRBO I'm happy to use what's there.) Also told no supplies left in kitchen b/c of Covid. ;- (No longer acceptable excuse. We practice pay it forward and leave toilet paper, dish and laundry soap, spices, unopened pkg like popcorn etc. First day request brought 3 blankets and 1 throw for living room. But dishwasher stopped working after a few days and never fixed. Suggested to owner easy to get some used books and games and leave some pantry items in house to create more good will. As is, felt rather cheap.
Property was very nice. Aly, property manager was wonderful; extremely nice and accommodating. Experienced an issue with arriving at the property; everything with my booking was correct however another person had book the property next door through Expedia/VRBO and was give the information for my location. Was able to reach Aly quickly and she came right over and straightened everything out. Everything else went well. Enjoyed beautiful view of the harbor, momma turkey(s) with their little ones, saw a fox one morning, and went down to the end of our street where we walked out to the lighthouse. The location is in a relatively quiet area, yet very convenient to stores. Would definitely book it again. One other thing, if you want access to the garage, double check when you place the booking as the owners had their cars stored in the garage while we were there.

Underwhelming
I’ve been in a lot of Vrbo’s. We own a Vrbo. I would not recommend this property. Lacked basic supplies, garbage bags, paper towels, decent toilet paper, cooking necessities. The advertised outdoor grill was in such a state of decay it was not functional. And had it been the host did not provide propane.
Great location responsive property manager. Home was comfortable and had everything needed to have a relaxing week enjoying all the local sights of Maine.
We love the Rockland area, convenient to many restaurants, Camden and Rockport. It’s always fun to visit The Farnsworth Museum and drive down to The Boothbay Botanical Gardens.
The house does very well for 4 adults as furniture is sparse (but comfortable) in the living room. There were small inconveniences with dishes and silverware, but rectified by host as soon as I made her aware. Extra blankets would have been nice as it was rainy most days.
I would say to let her know promptly anything you would like to have or have done.
The house was spotless and I felt safe and confident staying there.
Just as advertised. Enjoyed the water view, close to town, attractions and lighthouses. Turkeys crossed between the house and water twice.
Quiet neighborhood, great for a couple or family.
This was a wonderful property for our family--three bedrooms and a spacious living area, kitchen, dining room and an extra room with sliding doors to the back patio. The house inside is done in blues and has a fitting nautical motif. The home is conveniently located near to downtown Rockland yet is far enough away in a serene and peaceful neighborhood setting. Half of the house has harbor views and the lighthouse is walking distance from this home--at the end of the street. The owner communicated promptly with us and his sister was easy to contact as well and dealt with any small issues that arose. We were delighted with our stay in this home and should we be in the area, would certainly stay here again. This was a wonderful home for our family.
The Location and View alone is as they worth the price of admission with a large back yard overlooking the Rockland Harbor and the street leads directly down to the Breakwater/Lighthouse.. The location is conveneniently located certainly to Rockland but Camden is not far. The Samoset Resort is right next door across the street with beautiful property and a number of amentiies including a spa and a very nice restaurant. Supermarket literally 3 minutes away. The house is spacious and comfortable - and that includes the beds - with each bedroom equipped with it's own TV and all the the basic essential required for a home get away are provided. It really was a wonderful relaxing stay and would certainly go back and stay there again!

Rockland Harbor view
The property was very spacious. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. The paper on the table with the WiFi password did not give the server name. I had to text the owner to get that. The WiFi was not consistent throughout the house; the WiFi faded out in the bedroom . No Extra toilet paper & paper towels were stocked in the utility closets.
Beautiful spot with wonderful view. Stayed here before… would again!
Can’t beat location, huge back grass yard and beautiful view of the harbor. Second time we’ve stayed here and will again. Great spot!!

Bathrooms need update
The house was nice but one of the bathrooms had a black or brown dirt make on the tile. The other bathroom was in the laundry room. It needed an update. If these two things were done I would give it a 4.

Nice location close to three major tourist stops.
Actually things were fine but other VRBO rentals have been better. The home was sparsely furnished with just the basics. Light switches were only for a few room lights and one seemed to turn off the modem if used. The second laundry/bathroom shower curtain let water out too easily. The main bath was fine but some hair was on the shower walls and sink that needed to be cleaned up on day one. Communication with the owner was good, then poor, then good, then poor. All in all though it was fine and I would consider it again.
This was such a great house for our family of four (we have a 5 year old and 7 year old). The TV in each room was a nice bonus as we don't have that at home. The view is spectacular - we loved having our take out and watching the boats go by. The host was great with communication. We don't usually book the same rental house twice but we may make an exception for this one!
We had a wonderful week in Rockland, Maine at this beautiful home. Right up the street from Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse, my dog and I took lots of great walks there and back. The backyard looks out on the harbor, and it was so nice to sit and watch the boats and enjoy the sunshine or catch a pretty sunset. Grocery stores, etc. just minutes away, but the neighborhood itself is nice and quiet. The house was clean and well equipped with the necessities for cooking a meal or whipping up a snack to enjoy a with good movie. Chris, the host, answered all questions when texted in a mostly timely manner and gave us great recommendations for the local restaurants and things to do in the area. Rockland and the surrounding areas have a lot to see and do.
We enjoyed our break at Glen Cove. The patio overlooking the harbor was so relaxing. We enjoyed the accessibility to the Breakwater light - a lovely walk In the sea breeze was the perfect way to start and end each day. Glen Cove provided the perfect location for day trips to the Camden Hills, Rockport, Lincolnville and down to Port Clyde. We found Glen Cove to be well appointed - very comfortable beds. The kitchen amenities gave us the option to prepare meals. Although the restaurants in the area are wonderful - we highly recommend McLoons Lobster Shack. Thank you for sharing this lovely location with us
Great location. Very close to town and amenities, but easy to get out for walks and bike rides. House was very comfortable, and enjoyed sitting in backyard to enjoy the harbor view.
The house was perfectly located and allowed us to explore the Maine coast from Boothbay To Bar Harbor . Beds were comfortable and the house spacious. It could use more basic supplies like coffee cups and dishes but overall a great rental. Our dogs enjoyed walking thru the beautiful quiet neighborhood.

Very nice accommodation with a few minor shortcomings
Very lovely area and view. Nice, comfortable house. Great tv offering. Very few necessities provided e.g. shampoo, soap, kleenex, paper towels, trash bags. Would definitely recommend as long as you bring your own or buy household basics yourself.
We had a great time, just a few things to improve.
Overall this was a very nice property. Recently updated throughout and very clean. We did find the lighting inside on the dark side, particularly in the kitchen area. Just a few other recommendations to improve. For the high price we paid for the week, I think it is reasonable to expect the following amenities, which were not furnished: adequate supply of dishwasher soap, toilet paper, microwave-safe china, garbage bags, and a friendly binder with a list of nearby attractions or preferred restaurants. It's also not possible to walk down to the water without walking through the neighbor's property.
