Monarch @ The Shore - One Block to Free Beach & World Famous Boardwalk!

The Monarch at the Shore is a fabulous family vacation resort and is one of the premier destinations in Wildwood Crest. It is located one block from free beaches (that's right no beach passes required!) and one block to the start of the famous boardwalk. The Convention Center is a short 10 minute walk away where many events are held.

We rent to families or mature adults only (all must be over 25 years old). NO PROM GROUPS, SENIOR WEEK, HIGH SCHOOL, COLLEGE, OR SPRING BREAK RENTALS. NO EXCEPTIONS. THIS IS A FAMILY ORIENTED CONDOMINIUM COMPLEX

The condominium facility features:
- A large heated pool with Hot Tub and Kiddie Pool w/ chaise lounges and umbrellas to relax and unwind;
- ONE block walk to the World Famous Free Beach and Boardwalk;
- Two Lobbies with Elevators and Luggage Carts;
- Fitness room;
- Courtyard with “grill & chill” area for outdoor eating/grilling with four gas grills located near the pool;
- Bike racks;
- Outdoor Shower;
- Walking distance to beach, boardwalk, Convention Center, restaurants, miniature golf, Sunset Lake for fishing or jet skiing/kayaking/paddle boarding, parks with kids play areas;

Unit 108 is a 1200 square foot air conditioned unit located on the first floor that sleeps 6 comfortably with beach views from the veranda. The unit is family friendly and has all the amenities of home. It features a spacious personal outdoor veranda to enjoy those summer nights!

The unit is available for daily rentals with a 2 night minimum (3 night minimum from Memorial Day thru late June); Weekly rentals only starting Late June thru Labor Day. Weekly rentals are from Saturday to Saturday ONLY. Check-in time is 3:00 PM & checkout time is 10 AM. Sorry but no pets are allowed. Rentals to those 25 and older only please. Smoking is not permitted. Children are welcome and the unit is wheelchair accessible.

There is a mandatory $135 cleaning fee on rentals. This is what our cleaning team charges us and in return they leave the unit cleaned and sanitized including all critical touch points.

Unit amenities include:
- Full size kitchen with granite counter tops, full size fridge, dishwasher, gas stove/oven, microwave, disposer, appliances, dishes/utensils;
- Sleeping Accommodations: Master BR with 1 Queen, 2nd Bedroom has 2 Twin Beds, 1 Queen sofa bed in Family Room;
- 2 Full size bathrooms with tubs;
- Large Family Room area;
- Dining table with room for 6;
- Flat screen TVs w/ Comcast service in all rooms;
- Dedicated WIFI/Internet access;
- Washer and Dryer;
- Private wide deck with 2 full sliding glass door entry & plenty of outdoor seating;
- 2 off street personal Parking Spaces;
- Storage Closet which includes beach chairs, umbrella and beach cart;
- 9' ceilings w/ ceiling fans in each room

* Please note that linens & towels are not included. Most clients prefer to bring their own however there are several local companies that will provide this service for you should you choose. Contact us for more info or recommendation.

* Pools / Hot Tubs are open from Memorial Day weekend thru end of September.

However you enjoy to relax, whether by the pool or on the beach, the Monarch will provide many memories for you and the family!

Perfect Family Vaca!

Ultimate relaxation

Great communication with host! Property had every amenity and it was very clean. This property is all about location - less than a block to the beach and boardwalk. Between the pool and hot tub after the beach and restaurants close by we never had to move our cars. It makes for a very relaxing vacation.

Another wonderful year in Wildwood!

We are repeat guests of this condo and love it. Perfect size for 2 adults and 2 kids but would sleep more little ones comfortably, too. Pool areas are great!

Safe, clean, excellent location!

Perfect for a girls getaway for my friend and I to have separate rooms and separate bathrooms. This place is very spacious and could fit a lot more people comfortably though. It was clean and necessities were provided and everything worked great (showers, toilets, sinks, oven, dishwasher, tv thermostat, etc.). I would definitely stay here again!

this was a great location and very nice condo. It was about a 20 minute walk to the main boardwalk. Convenient , close to shops and restaurants . I would definitely recommend. Very good communication with the owner .

Super close to beach and boardwalk

Very clean , beautiful, spacious, roomy ,we are family of 6. Good view of the beach on the balcony while reading and having coffee. The pool was big and heated and there was hot tub for grandma to use. The beach was walking distance , helps grandma. The start of the boardwalk and tram was literally there on Cresse ave. Easy to communicate with Henry the property owner. We would definitely comeback. Everything we needed was there and was close by.

Superb communication

Henry was an excellent host. My daughter uses a wheelchair and I wanted to rent a beach wheelchair, we went off season so most things were not open yet. Henry reasearched places for us to call so we could get a beach wheelchair! He gave us recommendations for places to eat & activities to do. Our favorite was Sunset Beach in Cape May. The condo was beautiful. I highly recommend!! 5 stars

Perfect relaxing get-away!

3 of us had a super fun and relaxing time at this Monarch apartment! Henry, the owner, helped us from booking through checking out, responding helpfully and quickly to our questions. The accommodations are very clean (with nice beach-decor), comfortable and there’s a pool, hot tub, and a cute courtyard where you can hang out. We could walk outside with our beach gear and be ready to set up chairs chairs on the beach within 0.4 miles. There are plenty of restaurants and a CVS within 0.5 miles which makes walking everywhere very appealing! The beginning of the Boardwalk also starts within a block of Monarch! We hope to book again!! Loved it!!

Stayed at this property for an event at the Wildwood Convention Center (3 days/2 nights). Communication with Henry was throughout from reservation until check out. He is amazing. The condominium was perfect for family of 4. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and filled with amenities. FULLY stocked kitchen and several added personal touches. Can only imagine how great it would be during summer when Wildwood comes to life! Would definitely stay again!

Perfect place for us

We booked a two night stay in Sept 2023 to be near Cape May for concerts we participate in and discovered the perfect place! Instead of having to pay for two hotel rooms, this unit has two beds and two baths so Grandparents and daughter+grandaughter could all have private space and shared living space. Unit was spotless and lots of amenities- washer/dryer, dishwasher, pool, we wanted for nothing. Location is central to boardwalk and much more! Thank you Henry! Air conditioner a bit loud but all else was perfect and we hope to come back!

Perfect Impromptu Getaway!

Everything was within a 5-15 minute walk of the rental. The staff doing the light duty cleaning prep for the summer were upbeat, friendly, and very kind. The rental itself was well lit, easily temperature controlled, and all I need were the perishables over the course of the weekend to make full use of the kitchen and amenities. The weekend I went experienced multiple thunderstorms and rained 90% of the time, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the covered balcony to read a book. It was also a mere 20 minutes to drive to Cape May on the one day it didn't rain, and the sun was out and everything was gorgeous! Check-in was seamless, check-out was just as easy, and Henry was very responsive when I texted him to let him know everything was going well (I didn't need any concerns or issues resolved since there were none!) 10/10, saving this property for when I want to have another getaway with a bit more sunshine 👍

Classy and cozy comfort with many nice-to-have additions!

We visited Wildwood for a destination beach wedding, on the same weekend that a hurricane happened to be coming through! Since there were not many outdoors activities available we were so thankful to be staying in such a comforting, spacious condo across the street from the beach and beach hotel where our family’s wedding was located. The condo is beautifully furnished with comfortable furniture and beds, updated kitchen and bathrooms, and a covered balcony. The balcony and the covered garage were immeasurable in keeping our family and luggage dry from the hurricane winds and rain while we visited, and also while unloading and repacking our car on the trip. I also needed to work remotely for part of our trip, and was able to run meetings as a presenter on the WiFi connection. We even used some of the board games provided in the game closet. We walked the boardwalk and along the beach several times when the storm broke, and during the season would have been able to walk to many local restaurants, bakeries, and businesses nearby. The condo building faces the last road before the beach on one side, and a comfortable neighborhood of single family beautiful homes on the other side. We will definitely return here whenever we travel to Wildwood!
