Trendy house
This is a very nice rental- recently updated and very trendy with interior decor. It has two great common areas, bedrooms are very nice. Comfortable beds. Hot tub is dated. Yard needs some work. Overall very nice.

Great location, good size for family or group.
Good sized house for 8 adults +2 kids. Within convenient location to lake, winter sports, restaurants and stores. Nice kitchen size and plenty of pots and pans, utensils. Big table, although be careful because it's wobbly. Big fenced- in yard. We had a great time and do not want to be negative but mangagement/owner and renters may want to know about these issues that can be easily fixed: -all mattresses except the master bedroom are uncomfortable, and new pillows are in order. Everyone had trouble sleeping. Extra pillows without pillow cases found in the closet have big dark stains. What was under the ones we used with pillow cases on them? Chose not to look. -toaster did not work, so used oven broiler to toast bread. No hot pot holders or oven mitts available so used the 1 and only kitchen towel, which led to burned fingers because the towel was not big enough and slipped. Yes, truly, someone has blisters on their fingers. We resorted to using bath towels as hot pot holders. -upon arrival the downstairs toilet was leaking at the valve (someone was already aware of this problem because there was a wash clothe under the leak) and the water in the toilet was yellow. We contacted the management company and it was fixed the next morning. Good thing! -The back sliding glass door is very hard to lock. The screen door lock is completely broken. -Rug in the play room smells like dog. Got used to it. -Only one small hook for towels in the master bath. We draped towels over chairs and door knobs. Not a biggie, but adding a couple of towel racks would do the trick. -Could use a decent broom and dust pan, and vacuum that picks up dirt. -Managment company's written agreement said there was only room for 3 cars to park, and no street parking, so we crammed and stuffed food and supplies in our cars. When we arrived & parked, the sign on the front yard indicated ok for 4 cars which makes more sense. It would probably be acceptable for a group of young people who just want to snowboard and crash somewhere.

Playing in the snow
The home was nice, and quaint. It was clean with tons of room. The game that was there was really old and didn’t work and was a bummer. Everything else was good.

Really nice big house
House is really big , lots of space, clean, kitchen stocked with pots, pans, silverware, cup etc. Suited our needs very well. Hot tub was great to have. Shuffle board could use a face lift but does work we played lots. Worth renting.

Great place to stay.
the house itself was very good for us to stay - enough space for 3 couples, big dining area, quiet beautiful neighborhood. Only one negative point - cleaning service prior to our arrival was very- very bad....

Best of Big Bear
Everything about this property was great, the house, the location, everything met or exceeded our expectations. The management company "Destination Big Bear" did a super job and the check in process went very smooth. I would highly recommend this property. John Pilon

Great price but lacking some small essentials
We were very happy with our rental. The overall booking and check-in was a breeze. We did find that the house lacked some essentials, such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, and a cutting board. These small things are usually expecting when renting a home for a couple of days. The curtains in the master bedroom could use another layer. Right now, most of the sunlight comes right through. Great to get up in the morning and do things, but not ideal otherwise :)

Super cute and very cozy
We absolutely loved everything about this house. The decor was simply gorgeous throughout the entire home, and our family especially loved the color changing jacuzzi and the shuffleboard table! We had pretty much everything we needed right at our fingertips and the grocery store was just a couple of minutes away. My only complaints were the overgrown weeds on the property. For being such a lovely home inside and out, it just bugged me. Also, the upstairs Master bed was very firm. Like almost a brick firm lol. However, all the other beds were very plush! So maybe the owners did this with the thought that you, the renter would have a choice based on preference? Overall I would rent this property again, and I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family members!
