The vision for Pine Brae was inspired by my own experiences of seeking a place to enjoy nature but always finding crowded and over-developed offerings. I knew there must be other people looking for what I was and that I could earn a sustainable living by preserving wild places and engaging in eco-tourism. Pine Brae is the culmination of my life experiences in tourism, hospitality and passion for outdoor adventures.

What makes this property unique

The cabins are designed to offer protection from the elements without compromising stunning views and the feeling of being outdoors. The off-grid cabins are accessed by a walking trail and are not within view of one another, providing privacy and a sense of remoteness and tranquility. Guests enjoy access to over five kilometres of hiking trails and private waterfront on Long Lake with superior swimming conditions and complimentary watercraft. All cabins overlook a 7-acre pond in the interior of the property that provides quiet relaxation, reflection and immersive experiences with nature, wildlife and dark sky preserve.
