This review is in two parts: One: The unit. Two: the resort. Please read the whole review.
The unit was five star. Clean, everything worked. Weekly cleaning was great, we got bottled water before we asked for or needed it. There is an in-unit staircase to our private covered rooftop area. This area included a private plunge pool, table chairs, a sofa Fifty feet to the rooftop pool, lounge and umbrellas. The unit was 100 feet walk to the beach. There was a sandy bottom 100 feet wide of chest deep water. There is a Beach Resort steps away. You can buy a day pass. Our resort check in was fast. The staff at the front desk, day and night, was great.
However, there were a few problems. We were there for two weeks, many times the elevator did not work. If you have a mobility problem this is an issue. We did not use our plunge pool. We never heard the pump come on. The filter cover was ajar the whole time, so we did not know if the pool was ever checked or maint. Finally, there is a washer/dryer in the garage. The room is large enough for three of each, but there was only one of each. The wash can out dirty, so the water needs to be filtered, or the piping replaced. The clothes in the dryer were not removed. We called the front desk, and they called the owner who said they will get it when they are ready. The front desk collected the wash and took it to the owner. (Thank You).
This is a five-star unit, but we gave it 4 stars because of the few problems we had.
