Tons of potential

The apartment was clean, in a great, walkable location and had accessible/safe underground parking. Amy was pretty quick to respond to messages and helped work through a check-in snag with the apartment building, which was great. However, the place felt a bit unfinished - as if it was rushed to be listed before the holidays. There were some issues that I would’ve expected to be not be problems in a short term rental, such as missing light bulbs in lamps, no provided garbage bags or cleaning supplies, damp towels in the wash, etc. Overall, it was pretty sparse and was lacking any sort of table in the living space (so coffee was sitting on the floor while we watched TV), no decorations on the walls (though they were stashed in a closet, waiting to be hung), a broken shade in the bedroom and broken keurig. None of these things individually are a major issue, but the combination of problems made the stay a bit rough. I think with a few small things, which I’m betting will be fixed by the time the next guests arrive, this condo will be an absolutely lovely location for anyone looking to stay in downtown Calgary.

I am a mom of 3 plus 1 fur baby. I love hosting and making people feel comfortable and welcomed. By hosting the property I am hoping for people to enjoy the amenities of home while being away rather than a hotel room and feeling cramped.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling, golfing, and being outside. Often you will find me at the beach with my fur babies and my little one.

Why they chose this property

I wanted DT living without compromising by the noises. The location is close to transit, easy enough to walk everywhere without needing a vehicle. It’s easily accessible to the freeways and yet in the core of everything. I love how close the grocery store is located and the convenience store close by.
