Everything about this place is wonderful. The venue is top notch, great space, good layout, everything you need is there. The ambiance with the alpacas is perfect. Caroline is a great host, great to communicate with and very attentive. Her passion for her work shines though and makes the entire stay warm and inviting.
Recently stayed at this Alpaca farm and we had a great experience! There was 3 adults and 7 kids from 16-8yrs and never had a dull moment. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Gave us a great tour and took their time to teach us about the alpacas. Kids loved every minute of it. Would recommend to everyone. Thanks again for allowing us to create these memories with our family.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Caroline and Shawn's alpaca farm! The cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Our son loved meeting the alpacas and watching them roam around the farm. Caroline and Shawn were so welcoming and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and giving us tips on the area. It was a truly memorable experience!
The area itself is very beautiful as is property. Caroline was incredibly helpful and we had a wonderful stay. Watching the alpacas go for their run out the window of our accommodation while getting ready to go to a friends wedding was a delight.
What a joyous stay. I would definitiely come back.
My senior aunt, mother and myself were attending a wedding and it was also my aunt's bday so I needed somewhere special. My aunt has everything and I wanted her to have a new experience. Getting a hold a 4 week old alpaca is pretty darn amazing as a birthday gift.
I learned so much about alpacas (moreso than when I was in Peru) and came away with more love and respect for them.
As for the lodgings, holy cow. Beautifully organized with every detail thought of. Even thoughtful things like a few items for breakfast were such wonderful touches. The place was spotless and so comfortable. 3 women getting ready for a wedding can get crowded and there was no drama. The place has a chill vibe and a wonderful view. (Plus original PacMan and air hockey!)
The bathroom had a really deep tub and rainshower. And the kitchen had everything we needed. It was so darn organized. :)
The rooms are more open concept so for those who are light sleepers (and who have aunts or moms who snore up a storm) you might want to bring earplugs. And more time with the alpacas. That's the only thing I can think of as feedback.
I was all giddy before my visit. After meeting Caroline and hearing her story, I was even more excited. She's so passionate and knowledgeable. I feel like some sort of alpaca ambassador after my visit. I'd go back again, most definitely.
We had a great stay, the accommodation was perfect for our family. We spent four nights and used this as our base to explore the area from Ottawa down to Brockville and the local area as well.
The accommodation was spotless, well equipped and extremely comfortable. Of course we also had a chance to meet and learn about the Alpacas. A real highlight for my daughter and for us too. We would return without hesitation! We can’t thank our hosts enough for making us feel so welcome !
The apartment is beautiful and exceptionally clean. Caroline and Shawn are excellent hosts and they ensured we had a great visit. The alpacas are amazing! We had so much fun with them and it’s clear that they are well-loved and cared for. We all would highly recommend this VRBO. The apartment is on the second floor and, as older guests, we found the stairs a bit steep, but can’t say enough positive things about our stay.

This place is clean, has a beautiful farmland view, sunsets and of course:the Alpacas make it a truly beautiful experience! Shawn was an excellent tour guide and made our daughter’s birthday celebration a unique one. Inquiries and communication was clear with the host.
The description and photos are also very accurate. Spacious and kitchen well equipped, dishwasher, dishes, plenty of cutlery and glasses-we were thrilled with the space! Being elevated allowed us to have an even better view of the surroundings and alpacas. If you’re looking for a special place to stay, this place is worth the time , drive ( only 40 min from Ottawa) and money. It is a 5 star experience and happy the hosts are sharing their love of alpacas with the community. We will miss the fluffy soft kind creatures and will definitely be returning just for the tours in the summer. Thanks so much.
We had the most wonderful time during our stay. The hosts could not have been more warm and friendly. The rental was beautiful (and smelled like a spa!) and cozy with plenty of space for us while being nice and open so we all felt together. We loved the tub and robes provided. And the alpacas on top of all that! We were instantly in love. We had an amazing trip and cannot thank our hosts enough. Would recommend this spot to anyone!
