The Treehouse is the perfect home for families or a small group of friends looking for a relaxing holiday filled with plenty of surprises, a place to connect in tranquility and enjoy the beauty and privacy of being amongst the treetops.
The home has been lovingly curated and styled by the owner with furniture and art collected over years of travel to create a bohemian eclectic oasis.
The space
Enter through the gallery stairs and land onto the generous open plan entertaining area, boasting a dining table for 10, large lounge surrounding a wood fire and TV capable of linking all streaming services surrounded by floor to ceiling windows and doors to the treetop canopies and alfresco entertaining area on the balcony. Enjoy cooking for an audience around the large concrete counter in the fully stocked kitchen or step out to the undercover patio with BBQ and polished gum bar for drinks and entertaining.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, walk through wardrobe and ensuite with doors to the back patio and views of the garden and tree tops. Adjacent to this, the second TV or chill out room complete with a bookshelf filled with books, games and cards. You’ll find in the wooden chest a selection of picnic rugs and outdoor games including giant jenga and corn hole.
The second queen bedroom with views of the cascading garden has a wardrobe with drawers and is off the main hallway with an adjacent toilet.
The two other bedrooms are down the second hall and are adjacent to the main bathroom complete with bath and open shower overlooking the tree canopies. Both rooms contain built in wardrobes.
Waking to birdsong each morning and with multiple beautiful outdoor areas and floor to ceiling windows throughout, you won’t miss a moment of what nature has to offer.
Guest access
The entire house and garden will be accessible to all guests, except for the adjacent storage room under the carport which will remain locked. In winter enjoy the sounds of the creek running through the property and take a walk through the walking trail through the back gate onto Watiparinga Reserve.
Other things to note
The Treehouse is an architecturally designed, split level house built on poles.
As such, it is very elevated and there are many stairs to navigate both to enter the house and internally.
For this reason, the house won’t suit anyone that will find the many stairs a challenge or some families with younger children who may be concerned about the safety of having so many stairs to navigate.
We welcome any further questions about this and the floor plan shown in the pictures may also assist you in deciding if this is the right house for your holiday.
