About this property

Treetop Tranquillity on Queen

Our place is super spacious, brilliant with light and on the edge of Albert Park Lake. Nestled in the tree tops with a background of the glistening lights from the surrounding high-rises, it’s a perfect balance of urban flair, edgy lifestyle and parkside beauty. Designed for families, this 2 bedroom 2 bathroom 8th floor apartment has a generous open plan living area, a balcony, work station and secure parking, plus on-site resort facilities including a pool sauna, gym and rooftop deck.

Our place captures beautiful north-east light through huge picture windows, to make you feel completely immersed in the gentrified Queens Road urban lifestyle. On the 8th floor, you enjoy views of the neighbouring trees, and if you crane your neck to the left, you’ll see the edge of Albert Park Lake, the beautiful parkland that surrounds it and the bay beyond. The apartment itself features a distinct entrance hall with a European laundry (washing machine) that leads into the impressive open plan living and dining area. We have a soft grey 4-seater couch with chaise, an ottoman, a 60 inch smart TV and a 4-seater dining setting for you to use. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of small appliance options, gas hotplate, oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge, for you to cook your own meals if desired. The main bedroom feels generous featuring a queen size bed, a desk, walk in robe and timeless ensuite with shower; while the 2nd bedroom is dressed with 2 single beds, and wardrobe, and is serviced by a tasteful bathroom (shower over the bathtub) and a separate toilet. The balcony has a café table for 2 to enjoy the fresh air. Completely quiet inside with its carpeted floors and solid construction, if you open the windows, you’ll get some background street noise, but it’s soothing and makes you feel like you’re amongst the action. The pool, sauna and gym are located on the ground floor, and there are barbecue facilities in the communal gardens and on the rooftop terrace. There is a building manager who keeps a close eye on activities in the communal areas via the on-site CCTV system. There are 2 lifts to the building, that take you to the Queens Lane entrance and the ground floor parking area. The rooftop terrace has an amazing view of Albert Park Lake where you can see the Grand Prix action, the bay and the city skyline, all in one magnificent vista.

There is a locked storage facility in the hall cupboard for our cleaners. There are CCTV cameras in all common areas, and if anyone is caught smoking, there are hefty fines, especially on the rooftop deck. The pool, gym and sauna are open at specific times, and for quiet enjoyment for all residents.

The 3004 postcode is renowned as a more affluent area of Melbourne, yet it touches on the lifestyle diverse street scenes of St Kilda, Windsor and Prahran, being so close to St Kilda Junction.
