About this property
Casa Vizcaino, Surf and Serenity in Baja's Agrihood
Bienvenido to Casa Vizcaino, a thoughtfully designed retreat in Baja, where relaxation meets surf culture. Located in the lush agricultural neighborhood of Huerta Hermosa and surrounded by fruit trees and basil fields, our home offers easy access to both Cerritos and San Pedrito beaches—perfect for swimming and surfing. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the nearby pool, and explore local farm-to-table restaurants and markets. Watch the sun rise over the Sierra La Laguna mountains and set over the Pacific Ocean from our rooftop terrace.
The Casa features high ceilings, local art, pottery, and vibrant textiles. On the main floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, which opens up to a cozy living space and flows into a serene outdoor dining area, perfect for meals under the stars. The garden is surrounded by fragrant lavender, rosemary, roses, and olive trees. Upstairs, each of the two private bedrooms has its own full bathroom and access to a peaceful outdoor patio. The master suite offers a king-size bed, while the second bedroom features a queen bed, with an option to add a cot if needed. Both bedrooms include custom closets for added comfort. The crowning feature of the casa is the expansive rooftop terrace, where you can unwind in hammocks and enjoy panoramic views of the ocean, agricultural fields, and mountains. Whether you’re here to surf, explore, or relax, our home offers a perfect getaway in Baja’s sunny paradise.
As guests, you’ll have the entire Casa to yourself, along with access to boogie boards, outdoor chairs, and a sun umbrella to bring to the beach. Enjoy the shared pool, and there’s parking available for two vehicles.
Please note, we are located in a charming rural area of Baja, where sandy roads and the occasional missed turn are part of the adventure. While we are connected to local power and water, there can sometimes be interruptions—just part of the slower pace here. Life in Baja moves at a relaxed rhythm, and most places close by 9pm, adding to the tranquility of your stay.

About the host
Hosted by Hilarie Cousar
Hello! I’m based in Whistler, BC, where I enjoy the outdoor lifestyle with skiing, mountain biking, and yoga as part of my daily routine. I’m also passionate about art and love spending time in the kitchen, bringing flavors to life through home cooking. Our family business is in the restaurant and catering industry, so good food and hospitality are close to my heart. I love traveling with family and friends, and Baja has become a special place for us. I hope you find as much relaxation and adventure here as we do!
Why they chose this property
We first discovered the Cerritos and Pescadero area back in 2019 when my husband participated in a moto rally through the Baja. The sunshine, warmth, and local vibe immediately captured our hearts, and the stunning beaches made it even more irresistible. We also love how close we are to Todos Santos, with its vibrant arts and culture scene.
What makes this property unique
What makes our Casa special is the sense of community it brings. Nestled in the Huerta, we are surrounded by beautiful flowers, herbs, and fresh fruit and vegetables, giving you a true connection to nature. After a day spent on the beach, there’s nothing like coming home to the peaceful, tranquil setting our Casa offers. One of our favorite things is watching both the sunrise and sunset from the rooftop—it’s a magical experience that adds to the serenity of this place.
