Hot sleepless nights

We couldn't cool the condo off enough to sleep. We would set the temp control and it would go back to 79⁰. We are hot sleepers and need it cool. The queen bed sqeaks very badly and the king bed was too hard. The 2nd night in the condo a roach crawled out from under the couch so I think it's time to spray.The ceiling in the bunk/hall bathroom is peeling and my husband had to fix the towel rack in the master bathroom because it fell when I put a towel on it. The location/ view is wonderful. The size of the condo was good and we would book it again if the queen bed and the temp control was fixed.

Great location but there are trade offs to be made

Upon our arrival, we encountered several issues the provided keycode did not work, leading to a frustrating delay. Despite attempts to contact via text message for assistance, we did not receive a prompt reply, forcing us to make a lengthy phone call. This situation was particularly stressful as we had just completed a 13-hour road trip, with my 7-year-old desperately needing to use the restroom. After finally gaining access, we discovered that the door required significant force to close properly, otherwise, the keylock would continue to malfunction. Additionally, we were not provided with car passes necessitating yet another lengthy phone call to avoid potential towing. While security was vigilant in enforcing wristband usage, the presence of a strong marijuana odor in both the elevators and balcony was a daily thing. The shower door in the main bathroom did not close fully, resulting in water leakage, and the towel rack in the master bedroom was barely hanging on. Despite assurances of amenities such as WiFi, we encountered connectivity issues, necessitating yet another time-consuming call to rectify the situation. A few other noteworthy things...we found mold in the blender. An elevator malfunction on the third day of our stay required further communications. While the property showed signs of age, its location near the pier was undeniably picturesque. Despite the challenges we faced, we made the best of our stay. Just be prepared to be on the line for a bit.

Girl trip

It was comfortable enough. The decorations were in need of updating, and we would have liked more bath towels and washcloths. Also a foot rest for the sofa would help make the living room more comfortable. The drapery rod in the living room fell down when we tried to open the drapes and the towel bars in two bathrooms fell off with the slightest touch.

Needs maintenance

Property needed maintenance. I would be embarrassed to rent a property in such disrepair. Door code didn’t work when we arrived. Resolved in timely manner. Property lists a community gas grill. There are no gas grills. If you decide to grill be sure to have charcoal.

Disappointed

I paid for early check in, 1pm. We arrived at 2pm and there was still a cleaning lady there. She would not let us in and said to give her at least an hour. We had to reload our luggage and 4 very tired children back up after already being on the road for 10 hours. When we arrived the second time i noticed several thing that were not cleaned. Not wanting to be made to leave the condo again with the kids i located the vacuum and sent my husband for lysol wipes. The floors and couch had broken saltine crackers all over it. The kitchen counters and table had sticky food still on it. The kitchen floor had a sticky spot of what looked like kool aid and when i took a wet rag to wipe it up it came back black. I then had my husband go get a mop and proceeded to not only vacuum but also mop the floors in the entire condo. They were disgusting. Probably hadnt been mopped in a very long time. When i called to inform them of the conditions we came into they offered to send someone to clean it, which was nice i guess. But, after seeing how it was "cleaned" before we got there i didnt have much faith and chose to finish cleaning it myself. We also did not want to get out again due to being on the road since 4am. We were reimbursed for the early check in but not for the inconvenience of the state of cleanliness. I was told that if i did not want someone to "clean" it again there was nothing else they would do. Overall we were sadly disappointed in what we got versus what we paid foor.

Security Breach

The security code that we were given for the week did not work when we first arrived shortly after 4:00PM on Saturday. We called the help number from outside the room and reported that the code was not working. The person on the phone gave us a new code, and we were able to get in. When we first arrived, we looked through all rooms and closets in the unit. We opened the closet in the primary bedroom and discovered approximately 10 pieces of clothing hanging and a pair of shoes. On Friday, the night before departure, we began packing to leave. We opened the closet in the primary bedroom, and discovered that the clothes we had seen at the beginning of the week had disappeared. No one in our family touched or moved the clothing from the primary closet. We believe that someone entered the unit when we were gone and removed the clothes from the closet. We understand that this is a rental unit, but we would have liked to have been made aware that someone entered the room. We felt very unsafe and uncomfortable after finding out that someone had entered our unit without permission. Overall we were fairly satisfied with this property. We would like to see a clean room with no stains or mold. We looked past the plumbing issues and the stained sheets, but we felt extremely violated once we had realized the clothes were missing. It is very uncomfortable and unacceptable to know that someone entered the unit we had rented without our knowledge or permission.

Poor experience, great view.

Door code didn’t work, property manager couldn’t fix the issue, used previous code. Then we found the condo to be less than equipped and clean. Food on cabinet doors, fan blades had thick dust, mold on master bathroom vent. Didn’t have top sheet for two beds, no extra blankets or sheets in the condo, only 1 dish towel. Exactly 8 towels but 6 wash cloths for 8 people. Washing machine didn’t work, had to call property manager for ticket, but they never showed up to fix it. Had to ask them to bring more towels since we didn’t have extra and couldn’t wash them. We were only given 4 wristbands vs 8. They had security preventing us from using the walk path to beach since we didn’t have bands. Was told they would bring some over immediately, however, 24 hours later still no bands. We had to call and text and really “fuss” about not being able to use the beach access. Finally received bands. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CONDO!!

Great Location

The location is great. Place was clean and looked as advertised. Everything was fine. I think not being able to drink while in or around the pool is a bit over the top. Also think it’s weird that they don’t connect to the next door bar/pier, which made the walk around the parking lot much longer and annoying while holding our kids. Overall, it was a good stay but they could probably make a few changes to their rules to make it more enjoyable for accessing the local pier bar.

Beautiful views and quiet condominium

When they say unblocked views, they mean it. The view of the gulf is incredible and we loved that. The condo had plenty of room and beds for our group of 7, and the pool and spa were so nice. The check-in process was easy and communication was excellent. It’s a quiet condominium and we appreciated the smaller size of the complex. Here are a few suggestions for improvement: new beds. The master bed is very firm, almost uncomfortable firm. Better television subscription. While the wifi was great the television kept going out which was a bummer for our kiddos when they wanted to watch cartoons. An ottoman or larger coffee table for the living room. Otherwise we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Beach Trip- Not A Vacation- (Grandkids)

Chose this condo next to pier because grandson liked to fish. Perfect. Wrap around balcony with view of bay, gulf, fishing pier, pool and beach. Was afraid might be too noisy but was surprised at how pleasant it was. Enjoyed!

Great relaxing stay

Condo was exactly as advertised. Nice condo right on the beach for a short getaway. If you want a lot of things to do and lots of places to eat at, then Navarre is not the right beach. But if you want a quiet and relaxing beach vacation, then Navarre is perfect for that. Only issue with condo was one broken glass, but there were plenty of other glasses for us to use so it was not an issue. Would stay at this condo again.

Don't take the wrist bands

Was informed over 7 hours after leaving these are not just simple $2 wrist bands they are $25 each. There was no guest packet in the room with the parking passes and whatever else your supposed to receive like the email stated you would find. Needless to say we did not have enough wristbands for our entire party. Even called and requested more wristbands and the guest packet with parking passes and received 2 blank parking passes that was it.

Nice stay with family

Room was large, plenty for 6. Towel racks in bathroom kept falling off. One elevator still not working since last year so it as a big inconvenience, but they seemed to be working on it. Very nice sitting onnbalcony watching the beautiful surf. Make sure to bring your own beach chairs, beach towels. and umbrella. We cooked most meals in our room.

Awesome Views!!!

This location was by far the best in Navarre for what was the best fireworks show I have ever seen!!! We sat on the balcony and had a front row seat. Even with only one elevator in function, we had no problems at all. I do wish there could be some updating of the tv’s, and some kind of recliner. We had 2 elderly folks that really like to “put their feet up”, and that was little difficult with the 2 sofas and not even a coffee table. Even with these small things, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!
