Nestled on the outskirts of the city centre, the location allows you to explore the city's attractions with ease. A quick 1-minute stroll lands you at the Launceston General Hospital, making it a convenient space for those needing proximity.

Welcome to this delightful cottage, perfectly positioned for you to dive into all that Launceston has to offer. Picture a classic facade with a mix of original heritage charm and modern flair – that's our sweet spot!
There's off-street parking just for you, accommodating up to 2 small-moderate sized vehicles. Grab a seat on the front porch's sweet 2-seater, sip your morning coffee and soak in the surroundings.
Enjoy a warm welcome inside with two queen bedrooms on your left and a lovely living space on your right. The bedrooms feature crisp-clean linens and storage for your belongings. The living room is a cosy space featuring a massive smart TV, heating and cooling and a comfy lounge setting.
Just a stone's throw away, you'll find the dining room with a four-seater setting and a well-equipped kitchen featuring many modern appliances and essentials. Access the backyard through the kitchen and enjoy your own private urban escape.
No need to make a trip to the laundromat- the European-style laundry blends into the space, featuring a washing machine, dryer and iron. In the bathroom you'll find a walk-in shower, vanity storage and complimentary body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

The Neighborhood
South Launceston is a lovely and diverse suburb, known for its mining cottages built in the early 1900's. Being the first suburb South of the city, South Launceston is only a short walk or drive into Launceston’s city centre. With this hard-to-beat location, South Launceston provides you with access to many eateries, retail shops, amenities and Launceston’s city centre with ease.
Whilst exploring the suburb, we recommend stopping in to Guerrilla drive-through coffee to start your day. Wellington Street runs through the suburbs centre, with popular restaurants, take-aways, hairdressers, beauty salons and boutiques branching off either side. You'll be spoilt for choice for food and drink options, with many food vans serving up delicious goodies each day.
Nearby, you will find the Door of Hope facility housing Launceston's most popular gym, a café, a childcare centre, conference facilities and a church.
Coronation park, containing a sporting oval and small playground, is located in South Launceston. Other local parks include Princes Square, full of historical fountains, and the City Park which is known for its beautiful oak tree gardens, playground for the children, a plant-filled conservatory and cheeky snow monkeys.
Wander down to Launceston’s city centre, where you will find yourself surrounded by many of Launceston's most iconic historical buildings. You will find many tasty cafés and restaurants, an array of shops and boutiques and a vast range of cocktail bars and pubs.
South Launceston provides you with easy access to the Launceston General Hospital, and Charles Street, where you are sure to find many eateries and bars. Other restaurants and bars of note include The Black Cow Bistro, Cataract on Paterson, Café Mondello, Novaro's and Cinco Passione's, who serve up arguably the most tasteful cocktails in the city.
The Cataract Gorge is a spectacular natural formation where you can enjoy long and short walks, fresh water swimming basins, the world's longest single-span chairlift, a play area, BBQ’s and vibrant peacocks! An additional, unique way to experience this attraction is via the Tamar Cruise vessel, which cruises through the waters that carve between the rocky formations.

FREE TIGER BUS: The bus travels around the city. There are bus stops located nearby outside Princes Square Park and the Launceston General Hospital. INTERCITY BUS SERVICE: Tasmania has you covered with a variety of intercity bus services to make your city-to-city travels a breeze. If you're in the North West region, which includes Burnie, Wynyard, Devonport, and more take a peek at the 'MerseyLink' bus service website for their timetables. If you're heading to or from Launceston and the southern spots like Hobart, make sure to swing by the 'Kinetic' website. Please note that 'Kinetic' has you covered for some routes to and from Devonport as well.
