Quaint getaway

We enjoyed a great time staying in this quiet well maintained cottage that met all of my family’s needs. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay on Tybee island.

Family vacation

We had a nice stay overall. Definitely bring your own beach towels there is none on the property and only 2 towels and wash sets per bathroom so we definitely had to do laundry every other day.

A perennial favorite

Spacious beach house with almost everything you could need. We've stayed in this place many times, but not under the new ownership and with natural retreats managing it. The door code entry was a little finicky, and we were locked out because we pushed the wrong button once. Had to call 4 times before we could get someone to reset the keypad and get in, although this only took 10 minutes, so not too bad overall. The house is in a great location. The master bedroom smelled a little damp, and by the 5th night I couldn't sleep in there - I am allergic to mold spores, so it may have been that. We left the master bed sliding doors open, but that led to a lot of insects in the room that I spent until 3am swatting. An insect screen would be useful :). For those of you that have stayed here before, the pool is no longer there. We didn't see it in the listing, so weren't expecting it, but just in case you were wondering ... Overall a great place. I would just encourage the owners to check on the master bedroom for the musty smell - I couldn't see any visible signs of mold on the property, so who knows if it was that, but it's always a risk at the humid beach property.
