A beautiful home in a nice residential neighborhood close to Woodinville wineries

Self checkin was easy and home was spotless. Everything seemed to be newly renovated and well equipped. Nice bed linens and towels. Back yard was also nicely set up with hot tub and sauna. Would definitely stay again if I am back in the area.

Beautiful home

We loved staying at this beautiful home. It was located in a nice neighborhood. Don’t be fooled by the neighbor’s sign. Just make sure you follow the rules and you should be fine. This property provides everything you’ll need to feel right at home. Each bedroom is beautifully decorated and bathroom was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again when visiting.

Great option for families

We loved our time spent here! Comfortable for larger groups traveling together. When we arrived only four bath towels were available. Made for a difficult morning, but after contacting the owner enough towels were provided. Fast to respond and provide a solution.

Beautiful property

Overall the house is very nice. Exactly as pictured. The view out the back patio is beautiful. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of dishes. There were some minor details that were missed, such as no trash bags for the trash can, no salt, and it would be nice if there were more linens for the fold out couches to turn into beds. Our family was mostly comfortable here. We were not bothered during our stay by the neighbors, but the creepy sign they have nailed to their garage “No VRBO We will call police at the first sign of a disturbance” was unsettling. It did create some anxiety around using the hot tub, or really just being out in the back yard at all.

Weekend trip to Woodinville

The house was the perfect size for our friend group. We had an issue with one of the bathrooms but the property person was very responsive and got it fixed quickly. I think they listened to past reviews, we had not issue with dish soap and trash bags (although we brought extras just in case). I think I would be better to have instructions for some of the amenities like the Sauna. We could not figure out how to get it started and couldn’t get the tv to work either. Like other people have said it’s sad and disheartening to see the neighbors sign. It does make you feel like you are going to be called on for the slightest thing. So that adds a little bummer to the trip. If you are planning a specific meal I would bring your own supplies including cookware. They have some there but it feels very random. They also only had like three wine glasses. Which was fine for us cause we would just drink out of other cups but if you are celebrating and wanting to toast for example just bring your own. Overall a good stay. I think you would enjoy staying.

it'll do but try to find an alternative

Overall, it's fine, it'll do, you can make it work, but try to find an alternative. To start, it definitely does not sleep 16. The claim that there is 3 double sofa beds is just straight up a lie. Yes, the backs of the couches in the picture fold down and can be slept on, however, there's no way 2 average-sized adults can fit comfortably, not to mention the couches were broken and one of them had the corner of some wood sticking out. Fortunately, we live close by and were able to bring extra air mattresses. Speaking of broken things, the deck was taped off and not available for use because the railing is ready to snap and drop into the backyard below. Next, the floors look clean but are actually filthy; definitely bring slippers. Finally, be ready for the neighbor. If you try to enjoy the backyard during the day, not being obnoxious, just being in the jacuzzi or chatting during a game of bags, the neighbor will turn on a leaf blower and let it run for over an hour out of spite. They will also yell at your kids. As for quiet hours, plan on being inside with the windows closed after 10pm or the neighbor will call the cops. On our first night, we were sitting in the lounge chairs on the patio right next to the sauna and just hanging out, no music, no lights, definitely no "yelling, shouting, hooting, whistling or singing on or near the public streets", and the cops came by. Yes, it was past 10pm but we were not being unreasonably loud or causing a disturbance.

Nice House, Awful Neighbor

Pulling up to the home, you’ll be greeted with a sign above the neighbors garage that says “VRBO not welcome! Will call the police at first sign of disturbance!” The home was beautiful and had pretty much everything we needed (except toilet paper). We had a small family brunch with 8 people in the backyard where we had a beautiful and professional picnic setup and catering. We hired a photographer for family photos but as soon as we were in backyard, the neighbor started yelling from her bedroom window to quiet down. It was 11:30am and we were not making any noise other than regular conversation. When we did not go back inside, she went into her backyard and started yelling over the fence while taking photos and videos of my family. The harassment would not stop so we had to leave the property and find another location for our family photos, leaving our professional catering and setup behind. That being said, we did not use the hot tub or sauna at all for fear of harassment. The house had a few safety hazards, I would not recommend this house if you have little ones. The location was fantastic with easy access to all of the wonderful things that Woodenville has to offer.

previous VRBO member

We did enjoy the house, the remodel was well done! I have owed a rental before and wanted to pass on a few things you could improve on. 1- have hair dryers in the bathrooms, I couldn't wash my hair today. 2- have soap for the showers (small single use bars are great) 3-the dryer is NOT working. there were damp towels in the dryer and wet towels in the washer. we had to air dry towels to use. damp towels were rolled up on the beds fy the housecleaners. not good. 4- should have coffee onsite for your guests 5- nice to have salt/ pepper, napkins available. 6- need dish towels 7- wash clothes for bathrooms 8- have a binder of instructions and local info where to shop etc. 9- the grey chairs in the living space are not safe. tip easy 9- how to the blinds work? didnt know how to raise them. 10- some small things for the housecleaners to do..there is a bandaid under the couch in the living area they missed the GIANT spider on the wall in the downstairs bedroom will get some people upset, the neighbors sign about NO VRBO above their garage is sad to see. not sure how that came about. good luck, it really is a nice house. we were there for a memorial for a friend who passed away and was nice to have place to gather afterwards and talk. your home helped us process our loss.

Good but not Great

You definitely get what you read in the property details AND past reviews. The place was a good choice for my large party and is a great location if you're doing things near Woodinville or Kirkland. The misses were in the small details that makes a place from good to great. Upon entering, the house was 57 degrees. Would've been nice if they heated it up prior to our arrival. It was VERY cold and the heat didn't disperse evenly to the basement floor. Our guests were much colder downstairs. As others mentioned, extra hooks would be great. Setting out towels in each bedroom for each guests would save us time in looking for towels. Having handsoap in each bathroom should be a must. And extra garbage bags and paper towels in the kitchen would be nice. Having kitchen rags would help tremendously. We had a party of 12 and we cooked a lot. We had 3-4 bags full of trash. We had to get our own trash bags just to contain everything. They had a used sponge for us, which is concerning from a sanitation pov and the dishsoap was dilluted. If staying here, you may want to consider packing xtra dishsoap, sponges, trashbags, and papertowels. If you're reading the past reviews, you probably heard about the famous neighbor next door. I'd like to say our guests were respectfully quiet and we did get yelled at by the neighbor next door from their 2nd floor window who threatened to call the cops. Quiet hours is legally 10p. Some folks in our group are in law enforcement so it was ironic.

Not exactly as stated on listing

Great neighborhood and the house has clearly just been remodeled. Very clean! Nice amount of space with 5 bedrooms 3 on main level and 2 downstairs. The only access to the backyard is through a bedroom downstairs or through one of the unlocked gates on the sides of the house. The house is listed and has pix of a very nice fire pit in the backyard. It was apparently removed the day before we arrived , without telling us. This was one of our decisions on this house. We had bought stuff for s’mores with the kids already. But they are adding a sauna? Not during our visit. The backyard is not safe for kids. The rail that literally up to a very sharp drop off is loose and there is another unlocked gate near that rail that also goes to that sheer drop off. Several cement tiles are lose where a gazebo is being built as well. There we’re actually 4 men in the backyard working on it when we arrived, after confirming the check in time. We felt uncomfortable with this and we’re also concerned about the gates leading to the backyard being unlocked. We kept the kids on the main floor due to the issues with backyard. The luxury part of the listing. I probably wouldn’t use that word, that word implies much more. Newly remodeled is probably a good description as stated. The other thing about luxury is that you should have top of the line everything. Head and Shoulders Costco shampoo does not scream luxury nor do a limited amount of bath towels, no extras for jacuzzi. Also allotted only 1 kitchen towel for a three day stay. No essentials such as foil, storage baggies etc. Nice spices but only rock salt with no grinder. No pepper. I mean not a big deal, but if luxury, then have everything. It was spacious and close to everything. Overall a nice house, just not as listed. Come prepared with extra towels, kitchen towels, shampoo etc. Flying in from out of state and didn’t want to have to deal with that after ordering groceries in prior.
