Spacious Family Home central to Squamish trails
Welcome to our family home. We are happy to make it available to others while our family is away having our own adventures. Featuring tons of natural light and views into the forest we are located in the heart of the best mountain bike and hiking trails in Squamish. The large kitchen is a chef's dream and the open living room is great for dining. A spacious backyard is perfect for kids.
We have been hosts on AirBnB for many years and you can find this same listing there with over 100 reviews.
The upstairs is an open concept space great for cooking, dinning and hanging out. The kitchen features an island counter with second sink and breakfast bar. It also includes 2 ovens and a 5-burner gas stove top. Pots, pans and cooking utensils are included. The dining table can be extended to seat 8 to 10 people. There is a gas fireplace and a large couch for relaxing on with views into the forest behind the house.
Downstairs features a couch and room for quiet time, or to send the kids to play so the adults can socialize upstairs. There is a second work station with a standing desk in the downstairs living room, however, it is currently in use so I haven't posted photos.
The primary bedroom has a king size bed and access to the main bathroom with a shower and deep bathtub.
The second bedroom is downstairs and has a double bed and wardrobe for storage. There is a single window looking into the back yard.
The third bedroom/office has large windows on 3 sides and gets great afternoon light and views into the backyard. Blinds provide privacy and shade in the summer. The bed is a single that pulls out into a king size bed. The work station has a standing desk.
The fourth bedroom is the children's bedroom and currently has a crib and bunk beds with 2 twin beds (we need to update the photos) and changing table.
The patio in the back has a dining set that can accommodate 10 and gets sun during the day. It can be accessed from the upstairs living room with easy access to the kitchen. There is a full size BBQ on the patio also.
The backyard is large and flat and great for kids to play. A fence surrounds the yard, however there are some retaining walls that create a fall hazard for small children so supervision is necessary. There is also a fire pit and firewood available, however, I will update photos when the summer is over and the fire ban is lifted and we can have fires again.
There is a front yard and space to park 3 cars in front of the garage.
