Brand New to the vacation rental market.

Within just a few blocks to all that Carmel-by-the-Sea has to offer, this 1,370 sf home is situated within proximity to all of the conveniences, while enjoying the utmost of privacy. From unique boutiques and world-class restaurants to sandy beaches, miles of hiking trails and golfing options galore, this location has it all. Easy access to downtown Carmel as well as other Monterey Peninsula locations like the Monterey Bay Aquarium and historic Cannery Row, the Monarch Sanctuary of Pacific Grove, winery tours in Carmel Valley and the natural wonders of Big Sur immediately to the south.

Scandia represents the perfect intersection of quality, convenience, and design. The remodel was finished in early 2023 by a Contractor as his personal residence, so no detail was spared. The only thing remaining from the original home are the wood floors, so that guests can enjoy all of the charm of a whimsical Carmel cottage with the convenience of a new build with attractive, fresh finishes.

Living Space:
Enter from the private front courtyard, through the Dutch door to the generously-sized great room with wood-burning Carmel stone fireplace and TV with cable service. This home is designed with the intention to maximize every space and plenty of natural light with vaulted ceilings with skylights and exposed beams. The open-concept living space blends into the kitchen and dining area but each functions as a distinct zone.

Kitchen and Dining:
Just a few blocks away is the weekly farmers market. Pick up some locally grown fare to prepare in the fully-equipped kitchen. Abundant natural light, plenty of counter space and stainless steel appliances including a side by side refrigerator make this a pleasant space to spend some time. The adjacent dining table is perfect for enjoying meals or playing games. Or dine outside in fair weather.

The main living spaces and the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the main level. A bonus room is located downstairs which includes a comfy LoveSac sofa bed perfect for day naps and weekend guests, a TV with cable service and direct access to the back yard. The back yard is the epitome of privacy with mature trees and beautiful fencing that provide wind protection and plenty of room to entertain.
This bonus room is also where the laundry center is located.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
Both bedrooms are on the upper level of the home along with the living areas.
Bedroom #1 has a California king bed, TV with cable service and an en suite bathroom with a shower/deep soaking tub combination.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and a Smart TV (no cable) for guests to log into their own streaming subscriptions.
The full hall bathroom has a standing shower with custom tile.
Downstairs is a bonus room with a LoveSac sofa bed which can be set up for weekend guests or 1-2 children. This room does not have a door separating it from the stairway which leads to the living room.

Parking for 1 car in the driveway and another vehicle parallel to the street. The garage is not available for guest use.
EV (electrical vehicle) charger is on hand in the driveway - guests should bring their own cord and adapter.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.

This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice property. Clean. Ideal for walking to town. A bit of a walk to Carmel Beach, but right next to Mission Trail Park. A very relaxing vacation.
