We choose this room over another room in the same building that had a direct front ocean room view because of the fireplace that is in several of the pictures because it was our anniversary and we wanted the coziness of the fireplace for romantic evenings( the lighting, not so much the heat) After 10 minutes of trying to get the fireplace to work ( the remote is laying right on top of it) it would not come on, after contacting the host we were informed the fireplace was not for guest use. How misleading. It is after all the ONLY reason we choose this room over one with a better view. When I told the host it was misleading they said they do not advertise the fireplace, well then why is it in the pictures and no where does it say it’s not for guests to use because if it did then we would not have booked this room. Very simple to add that it’s not part of the room use instead of making you think it is. How ever the room was clean and that’s the only positive. Shout out to the cleaning crew for doing a good job at least. We did not enjoy the balcony at all, it was very small and you can’t even sit next to each other. I liked the building it was in and would come back but definitely a different room. The building was more adult friendly and not catered to kids and that was a nice change. The bar area by the pool was nice to grab a bite . Parking was very tight with those big poles everywhere so was hard to find parking in our truck.
