About the host
Hosted by Sandra & Randall

We came to Winnipeg for a year and stayed for 3+ decades. As travellers ourselves we know what guests are looking for. We spend part of our time in Europe and part of our time in Canada, so we offer this lower level to guests when we are in Canada. Due to our city's regulations, we can only offer our place through online platforms, like VRBO.
Why they chose this property
When we first moved to Winnipeg we lived in nearby Wolseley. We used to go for walks through Armstrong's Point and we thought it was magical, with all the trees, the historic homes and the wildlife - yet so close to downtown. We bought the first house we looked at and made it our family home. We later acquired this bungalow down the street, eventually sold the family home, then renovated the bungalow and moved in, in 2023. We always say living in Armstrong's Point is like living in a small town. We know all our neighbours and it is a very special community.
What makes this property unique
When we have shown people our renovated home, they seem especially enamoured with the lower level! Covid inspired us to create a space that provides everything one might need at hand and with a high level of comfort. It is ideal for travellers like you who come to Winnipeg to visit family, or are here for work or just need an escape.
