Walla Walla Gem - Peaceful, Private and a Perfect Central Location

Vacation in a lovingly remodeled home with an open floor plan and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Dining in? Enjoy a breakfast nook, dining table which seats 6, or sit at the eating bar. The three bedrooms each have en-suite bathrooms and there is an additional guest bath on the main floor. Luxuriate in the king bed in first floor master bedroom, or indulge yourself in one of the two queen bedrooms upstairs. Entertainment amenities include a Smart TV with Netflix and Pandora, WI-FI and 100+ cable channels, games and books. The inviting deck in back yard will draw you outside to enjoy the beautiful spring weather. Two off-street parking spaces are provided and a laundry room is conveniently located on the first floor for your use.

Stroll 4 blocks to the closest wine tasting room and restaurants, coffee and shopping can be found only 4-5 blocks away in the center of town. The Walla Walla Gem is within walking distance to a grocery store, the Marcus Whitman Conference Center and Jefferson Park. A vigorous walk will bring you to Whitman College and it is only a short drive to the Walla Walla University campus.

Wine Weekend
This was our 10th year doing our wine weekend and this property was excellent. The location made it very easy to get around Walla Walla. I look forward to coming back and staying at Walla Walla Gem.

Three couples coming to Walla Walla for wining and dining. Could not ask for a better home that could accommodate three couples… Each have their own room and bathroom… And plenty of stored items that made it very comfortable to stay. Much appreciated. We never used our car once as we walked to Main Street downtown for restaurants And shopping. great stay.

This beautifully renovated older home was the perfect layout and size for our group of 3 couples. The kitchen was fabulously appointed with all the things we needed for great cooking, bathrooms and bedrooms all were well-appointed and roomy. Very clean and confortable! Very quick walk to downtown.

A Perfect VRBO

Beautiful home and great location!
This home was perfect for out 3 couples! It was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean. I loved how each room had its own bathroom plus another bathroom off of the kitchen. Great location and we enjoyed the outdoor seating and fire table. I would highly recommend!

Celebrating our 70th Birthdays
From the minute we walked through the door we knew this was the perfect place for a girlfriend getaway. It was spotless, conveniently located, well appointed, and the three en suite room/full bath set up was great! We walked to fine dining and tasting rooms in town. Such a lovely home and wonderful hosts!

Another great Walla Walla getaway
This is the second time staying in this house. It is in great condition with good, quality furnishings. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious enough. The kitchen is well stocked and well organized. The location is great to walk into town. A quick walk to downtown restaurants, Starbucks, as well as tasting rooms. The hosts are easy to work with and very responsive. This is definitely a go to for our group.

Girl's Week in Walla Walla
Three ladies had the pleasure of staying in this lovely home for a full week. Parking and access was easy. As others have stated, this home is within walking distance of downtown. We found this home to be inviting, clean and fresh. And very well taken care of. We each had our own ensuite! The beds and bedding are super comfortable. There is a binder in the living room with instructions for TV, places to visit, restaurants and more. We prepared at least one meal per day in the best supplied kitchen we have experienced.There was more than enough room for all three of us to be in the kitchen at the same time. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck that is shaded by a huge, beautiful tree. The plantings around the yard are beautiful. The weber BBQ worked perfectly. We did not use the outdoor firepit as the weather was a bit too warm for that. Evenings we played games at the large dining table. And we sat at the banquette to do a craft project. The AC worked well. So did the washer and dryer. All the furnishings and appliances met our needs perfectly. Vicki is very easy to communicate with. Thank you. We had a fabulous week at Walla Walla Gem and would definitely stay here again!

Darling property
This house did not disappoint! Rooms are spacious, comfortable and nicely furnished. We did not cook but I wish we did as the kitchen is very well equipped. Short drive or walk to downtown area where there are plenty of tasting rooms, shops and restaurants to check out. Highly recommend and I am planning to book again for future trips. Owners are great to work with and very responsive. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

A beautiful home!
Even though the weather was quite warm/hot during our stay, we were very comfortable inside both day and night. The house is a bit over 100 years old but restored and maintained to perfection! Very close to downtown in a neighborhood with lots of shade and minimal traffic. Definitely our go to place for future trips!

Perfect Spot to Experience Walla Walla
This is a beautiful home. Tastefully updated, and well appointed. Our group appreciated the well stocked kitchen as we chose to cook in most meals. The deck was nice for enjoying the cool mornings and enjoying a cup of coffee. The neighborhood was quiet and close enough to walk to downtown. We definitely recommend this home.

We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful and comfortable. I'm not sure if it was recently renovated, but everything was in excellent condition. The bathrooms were immaculate. It was walking distance to Downtown. We had everything we needed except for food. The beds were very comfortable. It was nice to sit by the fire pit at the end of the evening. The hosts were communicative and gave clear instructions. We had such a wonderful time and hope to be able to come back again soon.

Robert and I lived in the Willamette Valley for decades, but love to travel and seek warm weather. Our travels brought us to Walla Walla and we decided it was a great destination. We have children and grandchildren in the area. We enjoy family time and water sports in the Columbia River and snow sports at Bluewood Ski Resort.

Why they chose this property

We purchased the Walla Walla Gem in January of 2017. We were charmed by beautiful historic buildings, tree lined streets and vitality in Walla Walla. We also enjoy the Central Washington weather. In addition to the wineries, there are many cultural, music and community events to enjoy. We love the energy created by having Whitman College and Walla Walla University in the community.

What makes this property unique

We were delighted by the recent renovation of the home. The early 1900's charm is still visible, with modern updates in all areas of the home. You can look forward to enjoying the warm weather on the back deck or sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee. The first floor has an open floor plan, so you can visit with friends while cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The close proximity to downtown is also a big advantage, as you can park your car and walk to shop or for breakfast or wine tasting. The home has a walkability rating of 85.
