This stylish 4½ apt is steps from Verdun's beautiful waterfront, offering cycling paths, nature trails & close to BIXI & public transit, with many amenities including cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, swimming & boat docks, beach volleyball, tennis & basketball courts, an outdoor public pool, kayak/SUP rentals & groomed cross-country ski trails

The space
*4½ room apartment fully appointed with many amenities. With a comfy office and high speed Wi-Fi, perfect for the couple / student / digital nomad needing a space for remote work, study or a longer, monthly vacation stay*

Located on the 2nd floor of a quiet, two story home in the Montreal borough of South West Verdun, this bright 1 bedroom apartment has been recently renovated, but still has lots of old style cachet. The triplex was build in 1928 with 9ft ceilings, original wood mouldings, large windows and maple hardwood floors throughout, giving the apartment a lot of charm.

Two closed bedrooms, each with its own closet. First bedroom has a double bed and large armoire. Second room is a dedicated workspace/office with drop-leaf table, desk light, monitor, keyboard & mouse, comfortable, leather office chair, extra dining chairs and a reading area.

Large wood balcony with outdoor table & seating as well as a propane BBQ, located just off of the kitchen in the back, and a smaller balcony in front, accessible from the living room.

The bathroom has a full sized tub with massage shower and large mirror vanity. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a fridge, stove, washer, dryer and many small appliances including a Saeco bean-to-cup espresso machine, toaster oven, microwave, kettle, popcorn maker, air fryer, coffee grinder, etc. A window AC, portable oscillating fan, dishes, cups, cutlery, utensils, pots & pans, baking trays, extra linens, vacuum cleaner, etc. are all provided to make you feel even more at home during your extended stay.

*Extra Bonus Starter Supplies*:
A generous starter supply of soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, toilet paper, kleenex, paper towels, coffee beans, sugar, spices, olive oil, vinegar, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, dryer sheets and garbage bags is all included. A full service pharmacy is a two minute walk from the house for further supplies.

House Rules:
- Maximum number of guests for apartment is two. Host will refuse check-in if there are more guests than the number indicated when reserving.

- *Guests' ID must match their Vrbo profile used when booking listing. Upon check-in, host reserves the right to verify guest's identity by requesting government issued ID, and refuse entry if online profile and ID do not correspond.*

- Please read the cancellation policy before booking your stay
- Non smoking house. No smoking of any kind (including cannabis) anywhere inside the apartment or on the property premises including out of windows, on front & rear balconies, staircases, main floor porch, front lawn, etc.
- No parties or events. This is a peaceful house; please be considerate with noise levels as my family lives directly below this apartment and we love hosting great people who are courteous and respectful.
- To reduce noise and conserve carpets & flooring, remove shoes upon entering the apartment.
- Please use the front staircase to enter and exit the apartment, and conserve use of the back spiral staircase for emergencies.
- When checking out, help save energy and reduce needless washing by leaving any used towels, wash cloths, etc. in the laundry hamper located in the bedroom closet.

Guest access:
- The entire apartment, including front balcony and rear deck, stairwell, and front porch is at your disposal.
- Note that the front porch and stairwell are shared spaces. An exterior metal spiral staircase is accessible from the rear balcony, for emergency exit use only.

Other details:
- This apartment is located on the second floor of a triplex, with fifteen interior steps, and a small front porch with five exterior steps. The host's family lives on the first floor.
- For your safety, the apartment has a combo smoke & carbon monoxide detector that is installed in the hallway by the bedroom, and tested twice a year. A fire extinguisher and a first aid kit is located under the kitchen sink.
- For your security, there is a smart video doorbell with a camera on the exterior front porch, one for each of the three apartments of the house.
- For your privacy, note that there are no cameras or sound recording/monitoring devices located anywhere inside the apartment, front balcony, back deck or in the stairwell to the front porch.
