Relaxation 5 star at Rye
It's the spaciousness, design and quality of the decor and fittings that hits you when you step inside this magnificent house! It is perched on the hill with incredible respect to its surroundings and captures the sea breezes - we loved it and felt like royalty! The hosts made us feel so welcome and at ease. Both adults and teenagers had their own spaces to chill out and join in. The walk to Rye main street and beach is 14 minutes - its perfectly located in a quiet street nestled in the trees. You can see the bay from the balcony and watch the sunsets every day. The amenities are everything you need and more. A full kitchen, lots of glasses and crockery, big fridge, coffee machine. The bathrooms are beautiful whilst the bedrooms are fully wardrobed and lovely bedding and taste. The dining and lounge areas are well thought out and so very comfortable. My husband really appreciated the large desk area away from the crowds to keep an eye on his business while on holiday. Plenty of parking space for multiple cars. The master bedroom/ensuite upstairs is a real stunner - we nicknamed it "the cloud" with the sea breezes wafting through in the night air. Our week long stay was not long enough. We definitely want to stay again.

Perfect house for families
The photos definitely don't do the property justice. Great layout and design, quality finishes throughout, 3 levels to allow everyone some space, fully stocked kitchen, the list goes on.Short walk into Rye and an easy drive if coming from Melbourne.Highly recommend and if we venture to the penisular again, this place will be first on out list.

A special place for a special stay
My siblings and I were looking for somewhere special where we could all be together to mark our late dad’s birthday, the first since his passing, and this property met the brief and exceeded expectations. Our hosts Trude and Jim had thought of everything! Help yourself to pantry items, plenty of glasses, plates, cutlery, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, we didn’t want for anything. Four siblings plus partners, we all had our own space to retreat to, with plenty of room in the living spaces to come together. Many laughs were shared and special new memories created. From drinks on the balcony, board games at the table or watching the olympics on the couch! There was no lengthy list of things that weren’t to be touched or things not to do, just a lovely welcome note, helpful tips for the stay and local takeaway recommendations. Check in was a breeze, and even easier was checking out! No lengthy list of tasks to complete, and a generous 11am check out time. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
