Fantastic Property, it was very comfortable & meet all our needs. Excellent location to the beach with personal access from the property as advertised. Easy walk to the Main Street of Cowes via Lover’s Lane (beach). Our Host was super easy to communicate with & we are already planning our return trip to this property.

Awful host, builders working virtually over our heads during our 4 day stay
Checking in was relatively straight forward. regarding the accommodation I have mixed feelings. On the positive side the place was large enough for us, generally well-appointed and close to the beach with easy access as advertised plus the outside shower to wash off salt and sand worked very well. However, I was not advised that during our stay that there was ongoing construction on adjoining unit divided by common wall. The construction started at 7am each day, hence no sleeping in and that is terrible as we were on our holiday and looking to rest and relax. We also had a toddler with us where his sleep and nap during the day was very difficult and at times impossible due to the construction noise. Also, the bedroom arrangement where access to bunk bed one is through another bedroom which is not ideal and caused issues when anyone from that bedroom needed to leave during the night. I had no way to contact host during our stay as he failed to provide his phone number or email that I requested prior to our stay. In summary, I am somewhat disappointed overall and our stay could have been much, much better with no construction happening virtually on top of our heads during our entire stay. I should have been made aware of this in his add for the place such that when I was considering my options for a place to bring my family to, I could take this into consideration. Host refused to provide any discount/refund for that stay. I will never stay again or recommend this place.

Construction on site
House was great, clean & tidy location to the beach was fantastic. Unfortunately the Construction work to the attached next store property was underway - builders on site using heavy machinery (cutting bricks, hammering from 7.30am) 2 out of the three mornings. Vibrating noise through the house.I messaged owner first morning & thankfully they stopped only resumed an hour later around 9.30. We had to go out for the day. Second morning they started earlier & louder. Heavy dust on our vehicles & gear when packing the cars to leave. There was so much noise & music when we left it was not relaxing at all. We could not wait to leave. We were not informed there was construction next store.
