Dock of The Bay #204 - Oregon Beach Vacations

Dock of the Bay #204 is located at the south end of Lincoln City in the Taft District right on the Siletz Bay. This is a great area to explore the quaint little shops, glass-blowing stores, and some great family-friendly restaurants. This two-bedroom, two-bath condo will accommodate four people, with two queen beds. One bathroom has a walk-in shower while the other is a tub and shower combo. This condo offers cable TV, and a DVD player. This is a second-floor condo. The bay front views right off of your private deck will allow you to daydream and let your stress float away on the breeze. If you look slightly to the right, you'll see where the mouth of the Pacific Ocean comes into the bay. The beach and bay access is right outside the complex, and if you're feeling up to it, you can walk the entire seven-mile shoreline to the north end of Lincoln City. Great location

Nice living room space for the 4 of us to hang out. Was originally given the wrong access code but was able to communicate quickly with management. View of the bay was gorgeous. Condo was very clean. Walked to Mo's and the food cart pod across the street. Was a nice 2 night stay.

The property was easy to find and quiet. They had a lot things in the kitchen to make cooking easy. Lots of space to spread out. The only disappointment is the deck was covered in bird poop so we couldn’t use it.

The fridge was missing and there was only a tiny mini fridge, the location was great and beach access was perfect, over all a very nice weekend

Excellent location and easy parking. No elevator, but only one flight of stairs. Nice to have a full kitchen and laundry. Property needs a little love. No light bulb in the main bedroom and outlets are extremely loose (plug fall out). Electric fireplace in bedroom didn’t work and no wood for wood fireplace. A little tight in kitchen and bathrooms, but you are really paying for the spot right on the beach, which was very convenient.

Quiet get away

We’ll stocked and nice view. Beautiful art work with beach theme. Close to MO’s and beach. Only down was our deck was totally unusable due to pigeons and pooh all over windows and sitting area.

Great location

This is a great location and has a wonderful view of the bay. It is waterfront, but there is no surf so you shouldn’t expect the ocean noise. The patio was screened in due to a problem with pigeons. Spending any time on the patio felt dirty due to the bird mess. The owners try to address the issue, but it clearly is an ongoing problem. The condo is clean with two full bathrooms. Well stocked and comfortable.

Lots of wild life as well as salmon fishing and Crabbing as you walk toward the ocean. People on the beach were very friendly and loved to show you how to fish or crab. Parking was great we had 2 cars so we talked to property management where we could park and they were great about that.I sent Ocean vacation some things that needed updated.

By the time they add booking fees, taxes and cleaning fees your cost will almost double. It is an OK location with OK amenities. But if you want any maid services, a hot tub, pool or other recreational facilities don't stay here.

So we decided to try Dock of the bay this year We enjoyed quite. .. Liked the two bathrooms and 2nd bedroom for company. Are only disappointment was the cleanliness of the master bedroom and bathroom, there was black hair everywhere including between the sheets. That being said we would we would stay here again.

Pleasant view, great local access

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful view of the bay. Had a beach fire when the tide was out, roasted sausages and marshmallows. Kids loved hunting for treasures when the tide was out. We had beautiful weather during our stay. Note: linen, pillows were missing for pull out bed in living room. Regular beds were comfortable for sleeping. Not quite as many dishes in kitchen for meals as we've had at other OBV properties: no pitcher for making juice, no waffle iron. Other than these items, good place to stay.
