The Space:
Showcasing sleek contemporary design aesthetics, superb appointments and furnished with high-end artistic flair, the sixth floor residence simply oozes luxury and style. Focused around an extensive social zone with Hobart city-scape and mountain views, the bright open space features an elegant three-seat leather lounge and single lounge chair sits in front of the TV plus a circular glass top dining table that seats four.

Glass sliding doors open to a deep elevated balcony equipped with cushioned seating that take in glorious views over the Hobart City skyline to dreamy leafy hills on the horizon.

A sleek open plan kitchen adjoins the dining area and comes complete with a dishwasher, stainless steel fridge and equipped with a full range of cooking appliances and utensils.

The two spacious bedrooms feature queen beds, mirrored built-ins and views and the bathroom is finished in ultra-chic contemporary themes. Additional features include a washer and dryer in the laundry, ducted air conditioning, elaborate herringbone patterned oak flooring and lift access to the street and secure covered car space.

A common landscaped rooftop terrace crowns the building and showcases spectacular 360 degree views around Hobart City to the Derwent River, Mount Wellington and beyond. There’s a share barbecue and seating up there, it’s the ideal spot to unwind for a few friendly sundowners and take in the glorious views.

Managed by a specialist Airbnb company, it is professionally cleaned after each guest vacates and all sheets and bedding is maintained by a contract linen supplier.

The Neighborhood:
Just up from Hobart City and a five minute wander to North Hobart’s trendy cuisine scene, there’s places to go and things to see doesn’t matter which way you stroll from the front door.

Templo restaurant is literally footsteps away, you may have to book, but it’s a foodie’s fine-dining favourite. A little further up the street in North Hobart, really worth checking out.

Hobart’s CBD is only a six or seven minute stroll down the road with its historical buildings, galleries, hipster wine bars and sizzling hotpot of restaurants (The Hanging Garden is a locals favourite).

The Derwent River swings by the CBD and houses Constitution Docks where The Sydney to Hobart Yacht race finishes and Hobart Wharf where you catch the ferry to Mona or a cruise down the Derwent to Bruny Island.

Salamanca Place is located right next to the docks, it not only houses a cosmopolitan collection of restaurants and bars, it plays host to the famous Salamanca Markets on a Saturday which comes alive with purveyors of fresh produce, handcrafts and gifts as well as live music, coffee and some delicious street foods for breakfast or lunch.

If you don’t have a car it is worth hiring one for a day as there are some excellent day trips around Hobart. It’s only a short drive to Long Beach at Sandy Bay for breakfast or lunch by the river or up to Kunanyi/Mount Wellington for a taste of the Tassie wilderness and 360 degree views that take in Hobart City and scopes the path of the Derwent River.

Kettering is only 30 minutes down the coast, it’s a quaint little fishing village that harbours the Bruny Island ferry (20 minute ferry ride to the island) and historic Port Arthur is a 90 minute drive away.

Getting Around:
The apartment is in the heart of the city so you can walk to many attractions, however we also recommend exploring beautiful Southern Tasmania by car.

Other Things to Note:
Guests are advised to be respectful of the residential setting of the accommodation at all times, and to keep noise to a minimum, especially when using any outdoor areas, quiet time from 10pm.
The property is not to be used for parties or functions
There is a strict no smoking policy at the property.
Guests should contact us immediately if there are any maintenance issues so that these can be rectified as soon as possible.
