Mythra Cottage: Charm, comfort, convenience.

We're delighted to offer you a stay in the lovely Mythra Cottage, a true-Blue Mountains holiday home. Mythra was built in the 1940s but has a brand new kitchen and bathroom (March 2024), new internal colours (Porters Paints), an eat-on deck, comfy beds, great linen, loads of kitchen equipment, games, original art and a HUGE amount of charm. All within one k. of the fabulous Carrington Hotel, Katoomba Station, the beautiful Minni Ha Ha Falls walk. We aim for Mythra to be a real home from home..
The space
Your stay will be in a lovely old cottage. It's around 80 years old - with new updates. It's not super-fancy - but it is super-comfy and very, very pretty. At the moment, Mythra Cottage is waiting for an outside paint job and a new driveway, but there's good outdoor space, a great covered deck, and the inside has all just been treated to a lot of love.

New dishwasher.
Plenty of comfort items - romantic electric fire (easy to use!), quality toiletries, loads of cushions, throws, kitchen equipment and more.

There are two good bedrooms. Please note, if you book for two people, we make up the queen bed only. If you are two singles, please book for 3 people so we make up the second room for you.

Please note - there is no front fence, so small children need to be supervised at all times.

Parking - for the time being parking is only available on large verge at the front of the house. This is only a few metres from the front doo.!

Sorry, but Mythra Cottage is NOT suitable for pets. Please do not bring any.
Guest access
You will have the whole house and garden space for your enjoyment.

We will give you a late leave time (up to midday) if we can.
Other things to note
You can walk home from the bars, restaurants and cafes of Katoomba - although there is a hill on the way up! (We tried to change it but hills refuse to be removed!).

There is no front fence, so small children need to be supervised at all times.

Please do not use driveway - there's easy parking on the verge at front (not far from entrance). There is a small home behind Mythra and this home has 'battle-axe' access along the driveway at the left side of the cottage. Please do not block their access. (The 'back house' is solidly fenced off from Mythra Cottage.)

Mythra Cottage is NOT suitable for pets. Please do not bring any.
