Amazing St. Lawrence River year-round modern log home with breathtaking, panoramic views of Canada and sunsets, on a 2+ acre spread. Property has private dock and riverfront for water activities like swimming, kayaking and fishing. The large backyard is a welcoming space for picnics, relaxing and gathering. There are also two optional summer RV hookups for the few who want to bring their RV along. RV hookups will be closed for winter beginning SEP 29 till Memorial Day.

The home has an open floor plan, with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The gorgeous panoramic room has a sofa bed, armoire, blackout shades and locking door, so it can double as a private fifth bedroom with dreamy views.

Home has central A/C-Heating. Additionally, there is a functioning wood burning stove for a nice touch of ambiance. Property equipped with comfortable, modern furniture. Our automatic standby whole house generator maintains power in all weather conditions. Amazing place for winter and summer stays!
No pets, no exceptions

The four-season room boasts over 22 feet of stunning wall-to-ceiling panoramic views . Wake up in the morning to the best view in the house.
Enjoy the sights from from the house, balcony, huge yard or dock.

Walk the property's trail down to the private dock stairs and swim in the clear water (in Spring/Summer). Bring your fishing poles and cast in the river while you watch the ships go by. For those who like to explore, the 126 feet of shoreline property includes some coastal tree hideaways for additional swimming and fishing.

The huge backyard slopes down from the house to a very large, flat grassy area with a fire pit, picnic table, and fantastic view of the river, Canada and sunsets. A large outdoor wood table with seating is provided. There is a half bath in the backyard camp with corn hole games, extra tables, and seats. Half bath is closed for winter starting SEP 29.

There is an additional downhill, short trail walk, and stairs to the dock. Walking up from the dock will provide exercise, so not recommended for anyone unable to walk uphill. See the pictures. There is an access driveway on the side of the house that leads directly to the backyard.

This is a great area for kayaks. At least one business in the area offers kayak delivery right to the backyard and possibly the dock.

Docking here is at boaters' discretion. The water depth around the dock can be shallow (2-4ft), conditions can change throughout the season and we cannot verify boaters' experience. With that said, guests have docked their boats here. There are also nearby marinas along the river to consider for docking.

Hurricane Joe's Marina is literally 5 minutes drive down the road. If for any reason you cannot dock on our property and choose to stay at Hurricane Joe's, we will immediately reimburse you the cost of their daily docking, which is $1 per foot, per day. We are happy to do that for our guests. They can also accommodate weekly dockage.

A nearby boat launch is less than a mile away on the same road, at Oak Point. There are other nearby boat launches along the river.

There are local boat and water sport rentals less than a 10 minute drive away.

There's a fire pit on the balcony and in the yard.

Home furnishings include plush motorized reclinable sofas/chairs, with usb charging ports. Home Wi-Fi is included. Our lift-top desk has a window view so you can read or "work from home", with eyes on the horizon.

The master bedroom has a king bed. Bedroom number two has a queen bed. Bedroom three has a daybed twin set-... One twin bed with second twin bed pullout from beneath (trundle) The fourth bedroom has a queen bed. The all season room has a full size sofa bed.

Guests have access to the entire property.

Water is purified through an infrared purification and filter system. The house comes equipped with a whole house generator to keep comforts in the small chance there is a disruptive weather event.

Nice rental home!!
We loved the location and size of this property. It fit our family group of 7 adults well. The whole house A/C was a marvelous bonus as we had a beautiful but hot week with minimal breezes. We were told ahead of time that the walk down to the water required exertion-,I would amend that to state heavy exertion! As a result, we rarely went down the hill(s) more than a couple of times, and ended up trailering our boats to the Chippewa Bay launch daily, because carrying our towels/fishing gear/coolers up and down the hills was just too much. A couple of suggestions- both lower level basement bedrooms were large and spacious, but the beds (1 queen, 1 futon) were like sleeping on cardboard boxes. I would strongly suggest replacing both, there is more than adequate space for king beds in both rooms. Also, counter space at the main sink counter is very very limited, and we struggled with washing dishes and pans with7 adults for dinner. Perhaps a sturdy table or counter extension at the end so that the microwave could be moved there, and give a badly needed two more feet of usable counter space. Other than that, the house is generously supplied with bathroom toiletries, and cleaning products as well as coffee filters/kcups and coffee-mate. We especially enjoyed the sun room and the outside deck.
