Lake Bach with Rural Outlook

Think back to the days when a Bach wasn't too fancy, just relaxed and easy going, a place to unwind, light the fire and get together with friends and family around the fire over a few drinks or a BBQ.
Look no further than our bach based at Otatu Bay, Lake Rotoehu.
Around the corner is the lake which is just a few minutes stroll, a great place to catch a trout or two or watch the sun set for the day. Listen to the native birrds whilst overlooking undulating hills on the neighbouring farm.
Lovely walks surround you in neighbouring walking tracks.
Just a 10 min drive to local Rotoma shops which has a service station, fish and chip shop, coffee and basic supplies.
Plenty of lawn space for outdoor games such as Petanque, Kubb etc or enjoy the Brazier and roast some marshmellows.
Come and enjoy, take a load off and enjoy a true kiwi bach.

Tranquil retreat!
Awesome stay! Wake up to the sound of kiwis and roosters, spend the day on the lake or listening to wood pigeons, fantails n tūīs at the bach. Fire roars in winter to keep you warm and although we didn’t stay in summer the outside fire pit was enticing! Nice sized lawn for kids to burn energy, ride bikes etc n filleting station for those lucky enough to catch a fish. Would recommend to couples for a quiet stay, families to get away or friends to catch up with the additional sleep out! Thanks for having us we will be back! ❤️
