DETAILS: Nestled on the eastern shore with 100 feet of lake front, Whitefish Lake House is a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home that comfortably sleeps 15 guests. It’s a quick 15-minute drive to historic downtown Whitefish for shopping and dining options, or over to Whitefish Mountain Resort for world-class skiing in the Winter and outdoor adventures in the Summer. Guests will love that this pet-friendly home includes a hot tub and private dock!

With prior approval, we are happy to welcome up to 2 dogs for an additional non-refundable pet fee of $200 per dog, plus a $100 cleaning fee, plus applicable taxes. Pets must be well-trained and crated at all times when the owner isn’t present. You must notify the host if you are bringing a pet so that the proper fees can be collected.

Upon entering this charming lakeside home, discover vaulted ceilings, a wood-burning stove fireplace, and rustic cottage décor. The large kitchen features high-end appliances and an open floor plan—making it easy to cook a meal or grab supplies to barbecue outside. A comfortable L-shaped couch, 2 armchairs, and a TV create a cozy living area for relaxing with family and friends. Enjoy sweeping views of the picturesque Montana landscape while dining at the 8- person table. The breakfast bar has seating for 3 more. On the deck, guests will find a grill, hot tub, and the perfect spot to appreciate the lapping waters of Whitefish Lake—no matter the season. The main level has 1 guest bedroom with 2 twin beds and a TV.

Upstairs are 2 guest bedrooms—1 bedroom with a full bed and 1 bedroom with a king bed and lake views. A twin bed in the open loft offers additional sleeping accommodations.

A second living area with a kitchen and separate entry is located downstairs. One side of the space has a queen bed, and a full sleeper sofa in the living area. The adjacent guest bedroom is great for kids, with a twin-over-full bunk bed and a twin bed.

With 100 feet of lake front views and 2 living areas, Whitefish Lake House is ideal for multifamily groups visiting Whitefish. Parking is available on-site, and both historic downtown Whitefish and Whitefish Mountain Resort are only 15 minutes away. Book this lakeside home today!

There is a private boat dock for your use in the summer months, depending on water level.

Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy!

Great location
We enjoyed our stay in Whitefish at this rental. It's the perfect location to get to the Whitefish Ski Resort, downtown Whitefish and Glacier National Park. We really enjoyed outdoor fires by the water and the hot tub. Great communication with the owners and property managers. Thanks for a great vacation.

Large Group Fall Getaway
Wonderful place to spend the weekend. Fantastic house, amazing views, and convenient location for heading into town. Plenty of room, even for a larger group of adults. Lovely private beach and dock, hot tub, and fireplace/deck made for a great day just spent at the house. Paul was very helpful, check-in and out was very simple and took a lot of stress out of the process. A couple more of the smaller amenities (garbage bags, toilet paper/paper towel, etc) would have been nice, but we were told ahead of time the amount that would be included so not really a major issue. Overall, highly recommend!

Location is perfect!!!
If you want full lake access and the convenience to downtown Whitefish-this is the place. The home accommodated our group of friends & children. The kiddos loved paddle boarding & swimming off the dock. We rented a pontoon for an evening out to watch the sunset. We had a plumbing issue our last night, but the staff professionally took care of the problem. Whitefish memories for sure.

June Montana Trip
Communication with the property managers was solid throughout the rental process. The property was what we had hoped for; great spot to spend time on the water and rest after hiking at Glacier during the day. The dock was in the water; we were able to rent from a boat rental company in Whitefish and pull right up to the house’s dock. Only surprise was the top bunk has a 100lb limit, which we may have just overlooked in the listing. Would definitely return for a summer visit.

What an awesome place!
The house was exactly as advertised. The hot tub and steam shower were great and perfect after a full day of skiing. House is a 15 minute drive from Whitefish skiing and 15 minute drive from downtown Whitefish. Lots to see and do. Great trip. Management company very responsive. Overall, great stay!!

Great for a friend reunion
House is excellent for a group to stay with plenty of beds to spread out. Deck was a great place to hang out and watch the boats and trains with plenty of beach to post up in lawn chair. Dock was well suited for a boat and paddle boarding. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Great location for a family getaway
Overall we really loved our stay. Our one complaint was that the individual rooms heating units were not working while we were there which was unfortunate since its was -10 to 10 the entire time we were visiting. Management was able to bring us space heaters but I feel like the room heaters should have been checked and tested before our arrival as we spent a VERY cold first night at the house. The decor is a little dated but offers a cozy, family cabin vibe. We loved the location right on the lake and only a 15 minute drive to the ski resort. Plus town was only a 10 minute drive away for take out or the grocery store.

Perfect winter getaway
We had a great time at the whitefish lake house! Located directly on the lake, we woke up to beautiful views of the water, and spent evenings watching the sunset from the hot tub. Communication with the property manager was incredibly easy and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

The location is great! The hot tub is new and was appreciated. The layout of the house is a bit weird - two of the bedrooms were open to the common room. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous !! Close lake access, lake views, very well supplied kitchen
Our 3 families made some fantastic memories here !! The lake is right on the property, the kids played and jumped off the dock over and over. We built fires right next to the dock and lake every night and soaked it all in. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook many meals, they had games to play, tv's, wood for fires, soft beds, warm blankets, lots of ceiling fans. Lots of stair to get from garage to house to lake FYI. Neighborhood had low traffic, beautiful homes, great for walks, quiet, and views. Loved this home, and we VRBO often. Thanks !!

Incredible Lake Getaway With Breathtaking Views
We stayed at this property in the summer, so much of this review applies to staying here in warmer months. However some of it would apply at any time of the year. I really cannot imagine a more perfect lakefront property. The multiple sitting areas provide several unique vantage points of one of the most beautiful lakes you'll ever see. The dock is the perfect place to sit and take the views of the surrounding mountains in. Swimming right off of the end of the dock is incredibly relaxing; the water is perfect. Inside, the sleeping areas all feel spacious. There is plenty of room on the main floor for your entire group to sit and enjoy each other's company. The interior design of the house is super cozy and really make you feel like you're in the mountains of Montana. Words really cannot properly describe how perfect this is for your family or group of close friends. Check in was as easy as it could be. I cannot recommend everything about this property enough. I would love to stay here again one day.

BEAUTIFUL HOME WITH STUNNING VIEWS FROM EVERY ROOM
The home was cozy and comfortable with everything we needed and more! There was a view of the beautiful lake from every room. It was spacious, yet charming and the beautiful deck was just perfect to enjoy our morning coffee and some of the wildlife in the area. Highly recommend !! We will DEFINITELY be returning to to this incredible home! Thank you so much for an unforgettable vacation!!
