Nice apartment in convenient location
This apartment is perfect for a visit to Kyoto. It's downtown, but not close to any "sites" so there are no crowds. But the neighborhood is really cool, with streets and alleys full of great little restaurants, bakeries, bars, and shops. Seems like an area mostly for (very friendly) locals. Highly recommended.
