Surrounded in native plants, bird song fills the air as you arrive at this elevated, 3-bedroom holiday home offering everything needed for a memorable stay.

Once you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a spacious and light-filled living area with showstopping panoramic views over Lake Wanaka to the surrounding mountains, including Treble Cone.

Just a 6 minute drive to Wanaka or a 250m walk to the lake, this property is perfectly positioned for a relaxing break away.

As you enter the house into the inviting, open plan living area, you are greeted with the panoramic views that can be enjoyed either sitting round the wood fire in the winter or on the patio via large sliding doors for a pre-dinner drink in the summer. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances needed to create a cracking good meal and a strong morning coffee! From the dining area, there is a separate deck with BBQ and outdoor table.

The dining table seats 8 and there are stools at the kitchen benchtop, perfect for breakfast.

Comfortable leather sofas face the smart TV, with Apple TV and board games provided for your entertainment. Wifi is complementary.

Upstairs the delightful mezzanine master bedroom is generous in size and also benefits from the stunning back drop of the mountains and lake. It looks down upon the lounge and to the outside across a vast atrium. Complete with an ensuite, dedicated workspace and comfortable arm chairs, it is the perfect place to relax and read a book.

Downstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed that enjoys the lake view and the other with two sets of single bunk beds. There is a shared main bathroom with a separate powder room between the bedrooms and a full laundry.

With underfloor heating and wall heaters in the downstairs bedrooms, along with the wood fire, it will certainly be cosy in the cooler months.

Off street parking is available for 2 cars in the driveway and there is a single garage for use where ski gear and bikes can also be stored.

This private oasis is perfect for several family members or a group of friends who wish to take advantage of all the comforts of home in this generous house, along with the sprawling lawn (the grounds are over 2,500m2!) providing ample space for kids to play and a peaceful retreat from a big day out.

Wanaka is only a 6 minute drive away, offering a multitude of eateries, shops and entertainment options. Fill your days with outdoor activities then come back and relax!

The lake side is just 250m from the property with access to the beach and lake / riverside walking and cycling trails to the town or along the Clutha River to Albert Town and beyond.

After your stay at Tawhiri you will leave with the best holiday memories.

* Do note, the atrium is an open area above the lounge, the views across Lake Wanaka are simply superb.
* The top bunk beds are only suitable for children, teenagers and adults should use the bottom bunks only.
* Due to the driveway being steep, it is advised boats and trailers are left at the bottom in the cul-de-sac
House Occupancy:
- No more than 8 persons excluding infants (less than 1 year of age) may reside at the property
Noise:
- Please always be respectful of our neighbours and be mindful to not make excessive noise inside or outside the house, particularly between 10pm and 8am
Rubbish:
- Please sort your rubbish into the blue, red and yellow binds that are in the garage.
- If you are staying at the house over a Monday night, and the bins are filling up, you may take the bin(s) to the street (at bottom of access road) for rubbish collection by 10pm Monday evenings (they should be emptied first thing Tuesday morning).
Car Parking:
- Please try to park all vehicles, including those used by visitors, within the property (garage, driveway etc.) and avoid parking on the street
Pets / Animals:
- No pets or animals allowed without prior approval and arrangements
No Smoking or Vaping:
- Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the house, or within 5m of the buildings. The Property Manager may charge you if a de-odorization service is required
Check-Out:
- By 10am on day of departure
Breakages and Damage:
- We understand that accidents happen, and that some things just wear out and break. But please advise
Property Manager if anything is broken or doesn’t work or some damage has occurred
- Please do the right thing so that no one is in inconvenienced. Thank you
