About this property
'Hakari' is a light filled, waterfront, spacious and serene home.
Hakari, meaning ‘filled with light’ in Japanese, is the perfect name for this beautiful home. It is a three bedroom, two bathroom home with plenty of living spaces; with a nod to Japanese flair and style including a Japanese dining table and sitting area.
It has everything you will need to make your stay in Hobart perfect and memorable.
Located on the banks of the Derwent River it’s perfect for relaxing, dreaming, and exploring
southern Tasmania. Watch yachts, cruise ships, and all manner of vessels glide by. Keep an eye out for the dolphins, seals, penguins and whales that are often seen in the area.
The private grounds are beautifully landscaped, with off-street parking, and a water-front vista with a fire pit.
The house has central heating and there is also a wood-fired heater to keep you cosy on winter nights.
You are also within easy reach of some of Hobart's best walking tracks and only 6km from the city centre, Salamanca and the docks.
A perfect location for your stay!
