Walking, cycling, and driving are the best ways to explore Malua Bay as public transport options are limited. Bowerbird is approximately a 4 hour drive from Sydney, a 3 hour drive from Wollongong and a 2hr drive from Canberra.
If you’re venturing a little further out, a short drive away you will find yourself in the bustling coastal towns of Bateman’s Bay or Moruya. From here you can explore the many hidden treasures of the region, such as Mogo Zoo, Bateman’s Bay Heritage Museum, the Mill Bay Boardwalk, the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens, or the renowned Birdland Animal Park.
