Beautiful new home, however not where the map shows it is located.
When booking this property, we thought we were booking something close to commonwealth stadium, as we planned on walking there. I had multiple messages back and forth with the owners, and it seemed like the proper location. However, the day of the show we went to the location and the property was not there. Come to find out on the mobile site if you click the map it shows about a 1.3km walk to the stadium, where as if you put in the physical address, it takes you to a location 5km.
This is not a long distance, however when you are walking and it shows the location that close to the stadium, that is what you are expecting.
I have asked the owners to update this, but as of a week later it still sends you to two different locations.
There were 2 other couples that we talked to that booked this property (its a duplex) and they were under the same impression.
As well our unit was not clean when we arrived, as apparently the cleaner had, had an incident and had to go to the hospital. I give the one owner credit he came and cleaned up as best he could while we were at the concert.
Since writing them I have not heard anything back from them, which is disappointing.
Again it was a terrible start, and had we known the ACTUAL location of this property in relation to Commonwealth Stadium, it would not have been booked, we would have paid the $300 to stay somewhere much closer
So fair warning to people looking to use this property if you think it is in close relation to the stadium.
