About this property
Tiny Rosie Summary:<br>S
Summary:
Set within a 365-acre sheep farm in the idyllic Southern Barossa area, Tiny Rosie is a cosy space with big surroundings. The area has a rich diversity of animals and plants and backs onto the beautiful Warren Conservation park. Look out for kangaroos, possums, echidnas, emus, koalas and a variety of birdlife. Absorb the sublime views of Mount Crawford Forest from the comfort of the queen-sized bed and take the time out you deserve.
Venture an hour north of Adelaide and find your slice of seclusion in the Barossa Wine Region. You can easily venture out to the nearby wineries, or simply choose your bottles and host your own private tasting at Tiny Rosie. Positioned to make the most of the cinematic views, to the north-east are rolling hills and distant mountains, and to the east, south and west there is ample bushland.
Birdwood is only a 15-minute drive from Tiny Rosie, a town best known for the National Motor Museum housed in the historic mill featuring hundreds of vintage and classic vehicles. It’s a good pit-stop to pick up fresh essentials or grab a refreshment at the local pub or café. If you want something a little more special, take a 40-minute drive to Angaston where you’ll find the Barossa Valley Cheese Company. Find rare and authentic traditional varieties of cheese as well as gourmet condiments and accompaniments.
Named after the charming Rosie from Australian novelist Graeme Simsion’s The Rosie Project, this tiny house will leave you with the same feel-good sensation as the book.
The Space:
Tiny Rosie sleeps up to four with a Queen bed in the window and a double bed in the loft. Tiny Rosie is one of our new premium house designs and comes with a reverse-cycle air-conditioner and heating unit.
Rosie features pure French linen sheets from Carlotta and Gee. These sheets are washed in volcanic stones to accelerate the flax softening process, resulting in extra soft, luxurious linen bedding.
We provide bedding, linen and towels, USB charger, fridge, freshwater for drinking, hot shower, eco-friendly compost toilet, fan, stove, BBQ, fire pit, outdoor stove, cutlery and plates, outdoor seating, books, games and provisions (soap, shampoo, conditioner, salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, matches and oil). You only need to bring food and drinks. Our tiny houses are powered by the sun and gas bottles. There are normal 240-volt power points in this house, but please don't try to charge large devices.
The Neighborhood:
Please note, to keep our houses hidden the location shown on the map is not accurate and should be used as a rough guide. The exact location will be revealed two days before your stay.
Other Things to Note:
Mobile Reception: There is a limited mobile signal on the property.
Pet Policy: Unfortunately, Rosie has a strict no pets policy - sorry!
