Summary:
Make the Ascent up the hand hewn stairs to large room with pvt bathroom on the 2nd floor room of this magical cabin in a hardwood forest. Your room has a queen bed and full bed. Perfect place to reconnect. Large porch has forest views. Outside hot tub ($50 setup fee). NO PETS!

Walk to Lake Gratitude & organic farm w/ friendly animals. Home to turkey, insects and other wildlife. These natives occasionally explore the house; please let us know if u r freaked out . Bikes available.

The Space:
The Master bedroom is located upstairs with private full bathroom. Two extra full beds are present in the room. Shared living room and Kitchen/Dining room are downstairs. Gorgeous old-time wraparound porch with rockers and view of the surrounding forest. Hiking trails accessible via nearby Big East Fork Retreat.

You share the kitchen, living room and outdoor spaces with the other house guests.

The house is surrounded by nature and its creatures (deer, osprey, hawk, possum, raccoon, etc). If you are freaked out by the occasional spider, mouse (gentle country type), or insect please rent elsewhere.

Guest Access:
Upon arrival, you will receive a door code to the house and a key to your room. You'll have unrestricted access to the common areas as well as the outdoor spaces. To gain access to hiking trails and lake please ask

The internet is via celluar wifi hotspot.

Interaction with Guests:
The Log House sits at the top of a small hill outside Leiper's Fork. Big East Fork Retreat is close by and always looking for new friends! We generally leave our guests alone, but may visit at appropriate time to say hello.
