Sled trip home base

Site was well situated amongst local sled trails. As guests we mis understood the full capability of the TV. We ended up securing a fire stick and then we had full TV access which was beneficial to our stay. The house was well equipped and served us well

Hidden Gem on a beautiful property

Gorgeous property, with tons of privacy and ideal water access. Everything was as described or better. Beds were comfortable, bedrooms are a generous size with loads of storage space. Kitchen is excellent, well equipped and easy to use. Outdoor space couldn't be better, great firepit and plenty of furniture for everyone! Tons of parking available and easy to drive to! Fishing was great, and the provided kayaks and canoes were in great shape! Host was easy to communicate with, provided all the info we needed pre trip and was available if we had any questions. Checking in and out was very easy!

Hi World,

I am Kelly. I grew up in the beautiful Ottawa Valley. I always enjoyed cottaging every summer for weeks at a time with my family. This led me to purchasing my own cottage. This provides me a peace of mind after working long hours in the city. I like to enjoy the cottage with my husband Barry and two dogs, Slurpee (Labradoodle) and Noodles (Sheepadoodle).

Please feel free to ask any questions and thank you for checking our cottage. :)

Why they chose this property

Barry’s Bay is a picturesque village nestled in the heart of Ontario, rich in history and culture. The streets are lined with charming wooden homes, many of which showcase traditional architectural styles. Lush greenery surrounds the area, with vibrant gardens blooming in the spring and summer.

One of the most delightful aspects of Wilno is its sense of community. The local residents are warm and welcoming, often engaging in conversations with visitors. The aroma of home-cooked meals wafts through the air, especially during community events, where you might find families gathering for potlucks or local festivals.

I particularly enjoy the blend of cultural influences here, especially the Polish heritage that is celebrated through festivals, food, and art. The lively music and colorful decorations during events create an inviting atmosphere that feels like a big family gathering. It's a place where tradition meets everyday life, making it a truly special spot to visit or live in.

What makes this property unique

What makes my property stand out is its unique blend of charm, privacy and spacious space. Nestled among lush greenery, it offers a peaceful retreat while still being close to the heart of the neighborhood. Inside, the open-concept layout is perfect for both cozy gatherings and entertaining. Natural light floods the space, highlighting the thoughtful design and high-quality finishes.
