With ample outdoor space, including a private dock & not one, but two waterfront decks, you'll have plenty of room to indulge in your favorite water activities!

Step inside, and you'll discover a cozy interior adorned with rustic charm and modern comforts. Large windows invite natural light to flood the open-concept living, dining & kitchen area, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for gatherings with family or friends. The well-appointed kitchen is equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals, while two comfortable Queen bedrooms inside the cottage provide a restful sanctuary after a day of exploration. Just a few steps outside the backdoor you will find an incredibly comfortable bunkie with another Queen bed, perfect for teens or a third couple. Inside, you will find a renovated 3-piece bathroom, conveniently located between both bedrooms. For those a little more enthusiastic about becoming one with nature, there is an outhouse across the lot from the bunkie.

Waterfront The cottage has a sandy beach, and it is possible to wade out. The bottom becomes muddy farther out, and it’s about 5 feet deep off the end of the dock. There are few to no weeds.

Close-By Attractions

Algonquin Highlands Trails. Algonquin Highlands has some of the nicest trails in Haliburton County, with over 38 km of hiking trails and canoe routes. Nearby trails include the Alven Ferguson Hiking Trail, Coopers Lookout, Circle of 5 Viewpoints and more, all within 25 minutes of the cottage.

Highland Cinemas - Kinmount. Not just a unique multi-plex theatre featuring currently available movies, it's also a museum showcasing the history of film and kitschy items from each decade, and a cat sanctuary outside! (35 mins)

Golfing. Lakeside Golf Club is only 5 minutes away, and within half an hour you’ll find a number of courses including Blairhampton Golf Course, Pinestone Resort Golf Course, Haliburton Highlands Golf Cub, and, fun for the whole family, Disc Golf at Abbey Gardens (5 minutes).

Haliburton Forest & Wildlife Reserve. Visit a sustainably managed forest that's open to the public (for a fee), with many kilometres of hiking and snowmobiling trails, a lumber museum, a world-renowned Wolf Centre, even take a Walk in the Clouds if you're feeling adventurous! (20 mins)

Day Trips. This Haliburton cottage rental is ideally placed an hour from either Algonquin Park, Santa's Village - Bracebridge, or shopping in Huntsville's picturesque and bustling downtown. The Dorset Fire Tower is right on your way to both Algonquin Park and Huntsville, and is worth a stop over for the amazing view!
