About this property

Roam. Relax. Recharge.

Get away from the crowds and enjoy the peacefulness of the Little Belt Mountains at the Hughes Mountain Ranch lodge. Open year round, the lodge is a renovated ranch house, originally built in the early 1900’s. It can accommodate 13 guests in 5 bedrooms with 4.5 bathrooms. Two fireplaces provide a warm, cozy atmosphere indoors. For those who prefer to relax outdoors, the lodge has two porches with fantastic views. A full-service modern kitchen is equipped with dishes, pots & pans and utensils. The lodge also has a washer and dryer for self-service laundry.

Each bedrooms sleeps 2-3 people. The main floor has three bedrooms, two of which have one queen, one twin and the other room has one twin and a set of twin bunk beds. Each of these rooms has it's own bathroom. The upstairs has one room with a king bed and another with two twin beds. These two rooms share a bathroom, but have their own sinks.

Pets are welcome at Hughes Mountain Ranch. We love animals and are happy your pet is able to accompany you. We simply ask that guests clean up any pet “messes” anywhere near the buildings and pets must stay in a kennel while in the lodge. There is a one-time pet fee of $25 per animal.

Interested in recreation opportunities? The Little Belt Mountains provide endless opportunities for adventure enthusiasts. Activities on ranch property include creek/pond fishing (brook and cutthroat trout), miles of hiking, trail running, mountain biking, and wildlife viewing, including the plentiful summer bluebird sightings.

Beautiful and relaxing.

Scott and Stacey are excellent hosts. They warmly welcomed us into their property and made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. They took extra attention to us when there was a electricity outage for a while. They gave us alot of information regarding their property and amenities. Our family of 14 felt welcomed and relaxed in their home. The set-up for bedrooms and bathrooms was excellent. each room had an adjoining bathroom for our needs.

The Hughes Family: Scott, Stacey, Sarah, Parker and Karen! Scott and Stacey own/operate Hughes Mountain Ranch in conjunction with Hughes & Sons Cattle Company. We have cattle, which, depending on the time of year, may be seen from the lodge. Our three children are busy during the summer months helping out with various ranch chores. We love to visit about what we do, so please ask if you feel inclined! Scott's parents, Tucker and Jane, live 6 miles down the road from the lodge.
