Great property at the top of the mountain. Landscape was beautiful. House has everything and more. Kitchen was great to cook in. It had everything that you needed and then some. Very spacious. Loved our stay.
This property is centrally located to a variety of things to do. The cabin itself is cozy and inviting. The grade is very steep to and from, so snow or ice could present a problem. The two fireplaces have gas logs which is extremely nice and convenient. The newly renovated kitchen is a plus. The furniture is comfortable and the towels are plush. The owner was responsive and great to work with.
This is a beautiful home and a great location. We so enjoyed the hot tub with a gorgeous view of the mountains. At night we were in awe of the moon. So clear from the deck and the hot tub. The kitchen was so spacious and easy to prepare our meals. If you are looking for a great place to relax and get away this is the house for you. Don’t hesitate book today!!
This was my parents first time ever in the a mountain area or staying in a home like this. They're 73 and loved every minute. My dad with two replaced knees hiked a 1 mile round trip hike one day and almost 2 days another. He's still not used to the steep roads to the house lol but he made it through it. Great place to stay, great views, even met the neighbor who was extremely nice! Also, the owner was very quick to respond to the couple questions i had!
We enjoyed staying here! The home is as advertised and has great mountain views. The owner, Ray, answered our call immediately and was super helpful when we couldn’t find the house initially. Pay attention to the emailed directions before you arrive since there is no cell service in the immediate area until you arrive and connect to the home Wi-Fi.
This was our 3rd time staying here and it just gets better and better each time. The hosts are some of the most wonderful people and I can’t thank them enough for all they do each time we stay. They’re always very accommodating, readily available and will do what they can to make our stay the best it can be. The location is prime for privacy but close enough to so many great places to eat and visit. We’ll stay here as many times as we can!
We stayed for a family trip for 3 nights. Clean, beautiful home in a stunning location. Very quiet and peaceful. Amazing amneties giving a feeling of home. No issues whatsoever. We would definitely return again.
We had a nice stay Father’s Day weekend. Weather was great! We rented a boat at the nearby lake and that was my family’s favorite activity. The house had everything we needed , my kids enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. I enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch and the sunsets over the mountains in the evening. Google maps does not pull up the address and there is no cell service at the property, so we did need to use the instructions provided by the owner which brought us there just fine. I would not advise driving at night and the roads are very steep. Overall wonderful trip , we will be back :)
We had a great time exploring North Georgia with this cabin as our base camp. I have made camping and offroading trips to North Georgia for years, but decided to stay in a cabin this trip. We hiked to several nearby waterfalls, did some offroading, visited Brasstown Bald(highest point in Georgia) and toured a winery and distillery. There are also many hidden gem restaurants in nearby towns. The property offers excellent views and was very comfortable. The best of it is watching the sun set beyond the distant mountain tops from the hot tub.
What a gorgeous home! Literally the perfect location and perfect home. It is on a mountain so there are sharp curves and steeeep driveways. In the summer no big deal. With any snow or ice, you better have tire chains/socks to make it up the hill.
The home was very clean and had all the necessities you will need. Plenty of towels, blankets, etc. Unlike other reviews, we found the internet to be just fine with no issues as well as the hot water. Four adults and we never ran out of hot water.
We don't have any complaints at all. Book it!
I stayed at the cabin with my partner, my niece and nephew, and their partners. We had a relaxing weekend with spectacular views!

Watch out for the steep hills.
We are Florida flat landers so the 3 to 4 steep driveways up to the cabin left us weak in the knees. The cabin is beautiful, but a few things would have made our trip more enjoyable. Hot water was plentiful for 2 people but after that you had to wait for more to heat up. The hot tub never got hot. Being 5’2 and disabled made getting into the beds difficult, as the beds sit high off of the floor. The shower head in the main floor bath was a all over the place. The stove was also too confusing but we made it work and had lovely Thanksgiving dinner. Lastly,, bring your own pillow, the ones provided are very hard and uncomfortable and make sleeping difficult.
Absolutely beautiful cabin at the top of the mountain with beautiful sunsets and views. Very quiet and secluded feeling. This place is absolutely perfect in everyway! It was especially nice having the pool table, hot tub, and fireplaces on the rainy days. Which we had alot of. With that being said WARNING thankfully I had AWD Suv because all the falling leaves and wet roads can make road and driveway tricky to get up to. Don't stop. We witnessed two different trucks at different times sliding backwards down the road on the way up. But it's not to bad definitely worth it. Everything is well stocked, just bring your food, family, clothes you are ready to relax and have fun. Really enjoyed having the beautiful kitchen to cook meals in (& grill outside)and a table to sit around to enjoy them together. Only wish there was a picnic table outside to be able to eat at on the warmer days would have been a plus. Having three bathrooms was nice but as for showers the downstairs shower was the BEST, main floor shower head sprayed crazy and could not adjust and the upstairs shower is okay probably better if you are tall (I'm not) can't tilt down more because head removes but then you have to hold it. Towels were great too and plenty of them. The bedrooms were all great only negative is the main floor bedroom doesn't have a TV. Thankful the windows all had full length curtains that could be closed and block all light out (sun). I'm very funny and picky about that and they were perfect. I know reading previous reviews before we came, no one mentioned that so was a little worried about that. Reason I'm mentioning. Beds were supper comfy. Cell service is very little to none. But there is a land line which we gave our family the number before we left for emergencies and wifi is great. If your phone is capable you can connect to wifi calling and use as normal. But just don't forget to put down that phone and soak it all in and enjoy a beautiful time with your family or friends at absolutely perfect place. There is a guest book that is fun to read through and see other people's experiences. We went into Helen alot. About 30 min drive. Just down the road is the Creekside general store that has the sweetest ladies and cute little souvenirs for great prices. They were very helpful in giving you places to check out. You are only about 20/30 mins from Hayesville,NC very cute little town. Oh we saw deer several mornings too!! Absolutely perfect will love to stay again
Fabulous home with gorgeous views from spacious deck - everything you could ask for - immaculate with comfy beds and furniture, gas fireplace and outdoor fire pit, pool table, hot tub, board games. No shortage of things to do at house and short drive to lake, hiking, parks, restaurants. Ray was helpful with area info and responsive to inquiries. Our young adults were delighted with our visit as were we.
Amazing cabin just as listed!! Property is great and Ray is excellent!! We had a blast at Hiawassee Brewery and Hightower vineyards, just about 5-10 mins from cabin. Highly recommend!!
We loved the cabin. It is difficult to get to, and the wifi is non-existent. Only one of us could hop on at a time, and that was spotty at best. Lots of room and the views are amazing. We all loved it.
We enjoyed the cabin experience. The first night was a little tough because the power went out when we arrived and there were no flashlights to see anything except for our phones’s flashlight. There is no back up generator because there is no natural gas access. They did have candles that we were able to light, which helped. Luckily power was restored at 2am. Otherwise the cabin was clean and very beautiful on the mountain. Thank you
