Welcome to Barney Point Cottage.Why would you stay in a crowded motel or units on your stay in Gladstone? Barney Point Cottage boasts a comfortable, fully furnished two bedroom house with lots of separate living areas. Enjoy a bbq or drinks in one of the two private outdoor areas and take advantage of Gladstone's fantastic weather. Dine indoors or utilize the outdoor inclosed living area if the weather is unkind. Rest up and enjoy cooking your favourite meals or a short 1-2 minute walk to great cafe's, fish n chips, or the local sporting club Yaralla which provides a variety of dining options and activities:- including bingo three times a week, Friday raffles, pokies, a fitness center, and a bowling green.The house and garden is secure with gates and lockable options, with a carport., that will take a boat in carport with your car behind and close gate for security. Barney Point cottage is a great base to explore the region and only 3-5 minute drive to the city, and walking distance to Barney Point Beach. Other local beaches Tannum Sands great for swimming and Boyne Island (fishing) are only a short drive away. If you want space, 4 eating/coffee areas, walking distance to shops, this is it. Why they chose this property
We think this area is great to enjoy all year round because of the climate.
about 26 in winter and 31-35 in summer.
You can swim all year round and dare i say the weather isnt extreme like Sunshine Coast or higher, the humidity is not so unbearable.
Plus your in the middle of everything, great beaches, not so busy, all the shop are at your fingertips.
We think this is a great location for your holiday.

We tried to present our property as spacious and relaxing.
We wanted to give guests a choice of places to eat, entertain and relax with friends and family.
Plus still have your quiet area's for those peaceful times.
We love the open, light filled areas, we love the doors that open to the outside from the kitchen and your master bedroom for night cool breezes.
The bbq area receives a lovely southerly breeze when your dinning outside
The huge undercover back pation is a great place to sit and gather should you have bad weather, if your lucky..
The living /dinning area is spacioous with a huge comfortable lounge with a recliner chair for the boss
The kitchen has a large fridge, air fryer, elements, electric frypan and microwave, so you can cook your favourite meals should you choose to stay in.
The really uniqueness about this property is its location
Walk to the pub, i minute to the Yaralla Sports Club
2 min walk to cafes, chemist, fish n chips etc
3 mins to city for all the shops you need
Location, comfort, space, and an amazing ambience is your Barney Point Cottage
